The Bucs have Gorzelanny (6-4) going against the M's Batista (7-5) in the first game of the series. Its time to break out of the slump boys!

Gorzelanny's going to be a stud pitcher in a few years. Too bad nobody'll notice because he'll do it on the Pirates.

He got a considerable amount of K's.BlackMamba wrote:and batista didnt do that bad of a job either.
so, today its another guaranteed lost...
with baltimore being the 1st team to fire a coach, is hargrove feeling lucky?
Jeff didn't do that horribly last game.
Hargrove's not doing bad; Seattle was on a winning streak some games ago, now they're slumping like hell.....

Yeah, Weaver's performance made me question whether or not the moon is indeed made of cheese...talk about out of this world! While I didn't watch the game in its entirety as I had better things to do, it's still amazing that Weaver not only WON a game, but pulled a shut out. The world really is going mad.

It's important to note that the Pirates just plain suck. They just went 18 straight innings without so much as scoring a run.
I'm curious to see how Felix does in his next start. While his boxscore looked pretty nice from last night's performance, ultimately...he's not the same pitcher right now that we saw at the beginning of the year.
