We are running out of games for this comeback...I'm sorry but I don't see us coming back if the Cubs are up by a game or 2 going into the last to series with the competition we have.

Seriously Mackanin shouldn't be retained for the garbage he just pulled. He walks Ward but he doesn't walk DeRosa? What good does a DP do there?

Yeah, might as well get a force at any base in that situation.

Didn't make any sense. Also, DeRosa was 9 for his last 9 against the Reds (had another 5 hit game in August).

Just poking a bit of fun, I have no desire to debate that garbage.

This is a momentum building win for the Cubs. I mean, playoff teams win these games, games that the Brewers should have been able to win at least twice this season against Cincinnati and haven't (opportunities against Weathers, that is).

This game is crushing to the Brewers chances. Still may just be one game in the standings, but this win is massive for Chicago. Huge.

Nothing's up. There, I squashed your doubts.

I'm cheering against all the teams ahead of us in the wild card race I really am starting to doubt the Cubs will lose that many games over these last 11. Maybe we can square off against the Pads needing to take 3/4 for the wild card.

Knowing our luck Bud Selig will rule this game to be played again due to a protest.

If Bud loved the Brewers (don't worry we know he doesn't evidenced by the past 15 years) he'd automatically put the Brewers in the playoffs and forget all that protest/replay the game business.

At least 3 bad calls so far in this game going against the Cubs.
1) Inconsistent strike zone all game.
2) The SS caught the ball going for a DP nowhere near 2nd base. One of the worst calls ever.
3) Derrek Lee beat the ball at 1st base yet was called out.

5) Phillips was tagged out stealing 2nd clearly but the ump called him safe.
