Not until the fourth quarter, when they have their backups in.
Bye bye Beal.

CCJ - You know it's gotten bad when your FG defense unit jumps. That's terrible. Good discipline from these guys. Shades of Spurrier.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

:(

One thing they can say is they're playing as a team. Failing, catastrophically, at all levels.

Offense, defense, special teams, playcalling.

All on the same page so far. On course for EPIC FAIL.

The ONLY thing is the defense is bending mightily, putting up pockets of resistence, or else this would be 21-0 or worse.

But it's early, yet.
Bye bye Beal.

The problem with the West Coast offense is...this ain't the West Coast.

Oh my goodness. Carlos ... Rogers ... with a pass defensed. Wow.

And a stop on third down for yet another FG attempt.
Bye bye Beal.

My mojito epiphany - I am not even mad about the game. Sad, but I now just expect us to be bad.

Okay, that FG to make the score 0-16 is IMO a CHANCE at momentum swing.

Giants are ONLY up two TDS with 2pt conversions. They should be up 24 pts at least.

IF the Skins pull some trickeration on special teams or if they get a score before halftime, I'm calling the Giants too conservative.

OR, if the Skins do nothing the next two minutes, I'm gonna record the rest of this game and do something else. This is it for the Skins.
Bye bye Beal.

CCJ, I can only hope.

Rhetorical question - -Is it too late to install an East Coast offense?

Finally, we score. With some help from special teams and the refs with the phantom face mask call.

Skins should consider themselves lucky to only be down 16-7. It could be alot worse.

Dat, don't worry - there are 30 more minutes for that to occur!

Mo's 1st half analysis:

NYG on offenset:

Ball snapped
Eli takes ball, takes three steps back.
Eli whips out NYT and reads front page.
Eli finds crossword and finishes - in pen.
Eli takes a nap.
Eli gets bored, decides that oh well, he may as well pass the ball.
Pass caught for 15 yards.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
