I predict the Giants had TOO MUCH SUCCESS EARLY and will be totally pressing late.

Mark my words, Eli Manning will start throwing into coverage and Rogers will pick him off.

I think Cooley will be open for that same screen pass that almost went in the first.

In short, the Giants punched themselves out and lost their crowd edge and momentum with conservativism. The Skins defense got kicked around the field, but in fairness, they saved 8-12 points by not totally breaking.

I'm calling the oddsmakers smart, as the 4 point spread will be pretty close. Skins WILL put some points on the board in the second half.
Bye bye Beal.

CCJ - Is there any way for us to get a cornerback who can actually CATCH AN INTERCEPTION???

Proposal for a Washington Redskins Drinking Game

- Cornerback drops an interception: drink twice
- TV shot of The Owner or The VP of Player Personnel: chug

Halftime is where the new coaching staff must prove itself.

IMO they're happy as heck with that last TD and they have a resolve to not mess up the same way in the second half. Campbell just needs to dump it off to Cooley at a time when the Giants overpursue.

Once the Skins get the Giants off balance that's when they go right back to Moss.

I have a good feeling about the second half.

Taylor came back and made a couple good plays after that first debacle. Landry, after getting drilled, is tackling low.

And just intuitively, I think all those nice catches and third down conversions the Giants had in the first half HAVE TO balance out.

Skins might win this game despite the craptastic start.
Bye bye Beal.

There's going to be some victory toasts when the Skins come back and steal this game.
Bye bye Beal.

Devin Thomas falling short took some wind out of the sail.

If the Giants score now I'm bailing on keeping hope alive. Two failed drives isn't a comeback.
Bye bye Beal.

This game isn't over yet...

I wish the Skins receivers would actually run routes PAST the first down marker...
