Either draft Gaines Adams for ourselves or just take BPA and trade his rights for some extra picks.

Improved LB play will help hide average run supporters on the Dline.

Take Gaines Adams at #6. The guy will be a sack machine. Hes built a lot like Jevon Kearse.

I don't think Adams or Carter would be effective playing on the other side - with his lack of bulk. Adams will be a fine player, but he'd be a poor fit with the Skins

We saw what happens to a run defense with Indianapolis playing 2 small pass-rushing studs at DE.

Want to see some funny stuff? Go over to the Bears forum and look at their Lance Briggs thread.

Priceless.

The Colts run defense problems were fixed in the playoffs when Bob Sanders returned and they replaced the smaller Gilbert Gardner with bigger Rob Morris.

The DT's are the key to run stuffing on the D-line. If we can get solid DT and OLB play, the smaller DE thing will not be a problem.

I think our problem at stopping the run was more because of the LB's last year than the Dline. The Dline sucked in terms of pass rushing, not run stuffing.

Adding Gaines Adams will do wonders for our pass defense. His speed of the edge is unmatched by any other DE in this years draft.
