Laron looks like he'll be the best rookie defensive player. He looks like a beast blowing up a couple of plays in the process. I would argue he and Taylor are going to make the defensive line better.
Update on Marcus, they popped his elbow back in.

Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

I wouldn't call it an overreaction. It looked just like what happened to Carson Palmer. IMO Campbell is darn lucky. He was about an inch away from being done for the year.
I'll say that it's interesting to see Gibbs go to Collins. That's like Eddie Jordan putting in Blatche instead of Etan. I'd like to see Collins start against Baltimore (assuming that Campbell can't go). If he can move the ball against them like he's done tonight then the #8 car could be parked in the garage permanently.

The problem isn't putting it back in - it's the stretching of the ligaments when the dislocation occurs. That has to be fixed surgically but with it so close to the season he'll have to play on that all year and get surgery in the offseason. So he'll basically be playing nicked all year...again.
Mike Espy looks like he's done. My bet is it's an Achilles.

Whichever way they sugar coat it, that hit on Campbells knee was intentional. The guy wasn't pushed into it. He had complete control over his body and movement. They did it on purpose to Carson Palmer. They did it on purprise their. I hope the league looks into this.
On a side note, count me on the HB Blades bandwagon.

Oh damn. An unhealthy Marcus is still a very good player. We also don't have Warrick Holdman (the Mark Brunell of linebackers) so Marcus won't have a lot on his shoulders.

Espy - ruptured kneecap (OUCH)
Washington - dislocated elbow, they popped it back in. Out a couple of weeks
Campbell - bruised knee
Have they actually done an MRI on Campbell? I will trust the update once an MRI from several angles has been done. X-rays are a rather primative way to look for ligament damage.
