The season opener is upon us!

Where: FedEx Field
When: MNF, 7pm (ESPN)

This feels like a shootout to me. Pittsburgh's defense isn't what it used to be, and Bell is suspended. And on Washington's side, the running game hasn't gotten any traction so far, so they will have to pass. Go Skins!

2 really good offenses against 2 highly questionable defenses, so it should be a very high scoring game, but... Pittsburgh decides to take advantage of Wash's porous run defense, and Wash for some reason continues to run on every 1st down. Skins 20 Steelers 18.

Kurt Cousins and the defense looked like complete crap. The Steelers had no respect for the skins on either side of the ball...it was pathetic and embarrassing.

It was ugly, wasn't it? I will say that I think our O-line was our best unit of the game - but that's a left-handed complement - as they made too many penalties. The Skins D was just terrible and kept getting worse as the game wore on. That's a sign that the coaches are in over their heads. Our D-Coordinator... he's been an absolute failure everywhere he's been. At some point, you gotta ask - why does he have a job - much less as a coordinator. He seems like a good guy, but he's really bad at his job.

Memo to Kurt: 7 points is a lot better than 3. You have to get out of the pocket and extend plays on occasion to get that 7. Play football. Did you not see Big Ben doing that - and understand that's probably the biggest reason why he's great and you played like a textbook game manager rather than a football player?
