I'll begin with a seemingly well researched article on the Skins front 4 woes and the possible free agent solutions:
DE Blog, Finally
Despite what the Redskins might say out loud, there are plenty of people in the building with big concerns about the D Line. The idea that an improved secondary will greatly lift the front four, well, I couldn't find a personnel guy or exec around the league to buy it, or to expect guys like Smoot or Macklin to somehow make the DTs better, but I guess it'll all come out in the wash come the fall anyway....
Knowing how aggressive Gibbs and Snyder are, as I have said before, I don't think they're done....
Aaron Schobel and Derrick Burgess.
I wouldn't be stunned at all if the Skins eventually parted with a draft pick or two to get one of them. And I wouldn't blame them, either. Not one bit. Schobel in particular seems like a nobrainer.
Check this out, among active players the last six years:
G Sacks Tckls
Simeon Rice 95 62.5 262
Aaron Schobel 96 60.5 351
K Gbaja-Biamila 86 58.5 221
Jason Taylor 92 58 342
Dwight Freeney (5 yrs) 79 56.5 169
Jevon Kearse 80 55
John Abraham 73 53.5 278
Julius Peppers (5yrs) 76 53.5 250
Trevor Pryce 87 51.5 244

Not a bad third back at all, apparently he is a very good blocker as well:

The Washington Redskins and free agent running back Derrick Blaylock agreed to a deal last night, following his participation in the weekend rookie minicamp, and the team offered a contract to free agent tight end Zach Hilton.
A veteran of 51 NFL games and a return specialist as well, Blaylock, 27,worked out this weekend without a contract, but reached a verbal agreement with the team last night, according to his agent Michael Huyghue. Terms of the deal were not available.

I'm really interested in what our UDFA Justin Hickman can do. He ate apart USC's lineman and was a great pass rusher the entire season.
He will never be a full time starter but he could be a great third down guy. Daniels is basically worthless on passing downs so bringing in pass rush specialists might be smart.

What are the chancers that the undrafted Byron Westbrook makes the roster? I'm saying very unlikely unless he beats out Jimoh on special teams (which unfo for my ego he is valuable). I would really like a DB to outplay Jimoh on special teams so we will never have to see him try to cover someone again.

It is not just Westbrook. Remember Portis was raving about Eubanks last year and I think Talley is a pretty fine cover corner as well. I too hope someone can outgun Jimoh as a gunner on ST.
