Skins vs Cardinals

Post#1 » by LyricalRico » Wed Oct 17, 2007 1:28 am

Maybe playing a QB-less team is just what the doctor ordered. But if Moss and Portis continue to be no-shows we'll be screwed again. I can't even get excited for this one.

Discuss.

A loss would be depressing. The Cardinals team will face really sucks just because Tim Rattay is the QB.

I've seen Tim Rattay kill good teams AND Kurt Warner might play AND Anquan Boldin will definitely play AND the Skins have no line AND as of last week only Cooley could catch AND the sky is falling, the sky is falling.

I'm hoping the WR's rebound or they start using McCardell on more 3rd downs since he somehow manages to get open and make the catch. If Joe Bugel and Bubba Tyer can somehow pull of miracles this game could be a cake walk. If there is no O-line it could be a Cardinal victory.

We are at home so we beat the Cardinals. I'm worried about the offensive line, but I'm not worried about the Cardinals defense.

Cardinals defense is pretty solid though. If we lose this game though, I dunno if I can stomach watching the rest of the season. The NFC is their for the taking by any team. We should be at least 4-1.

Got away with a close one today. The offense still blows chunks but I'll take the win.

That game was scary. If we don't get a killer instinct I might not be able to get through these games without major migraines.

I think the play calling has been a bit shady too. On one drive, it was 2nd and 12, but they called for a run, got 2 yards and we had to pass on 3rd and long. Why not pass the ball, see what you can get, and then decide whether or not to run or pass? Not to mention the drops are hurting us big time. We can't get anything going, just very frustrating.

And running the ball? Why are we running to the right, our strength is in Kendall and Samuels. RUN LEFT.

right now it looks like the skins are good for just one half of football.
they blaze right out the starting gate, then limp to the finish line. every week

Rafael, I'm told teams are shading their run defenses to the left b/c they know the Skins can't run to the right. Next week should be brutal. It would be nice if the Skins could get Moss and Cooley going again.
