BELIEVE: Dallas v. Skins

Post#1 » by W. Unseld » Fri Nov 16, 2007 3:05 pm

Okay, Lyrical was supposed to make this thread as punishment for leap frogging me after my winning Jets game thread. I feel the Skins will hit a mini win streak--after this game. But I'm looking for JC development and a possible cheap shot on Tony Romo or Jerry Jones to get me through this game.

Game time: 4:15 (please don't let Aikmen announce, Skins are 0-3 this season w/Aikmen announcing).

Okay, here's some inspiration from a poster on extremeskins:

"Think back to the strike-shortened season.
Or if you're too young to think back that far, then read about it.
Gibbs put together a scab team of rejects, ex-cons, criminals on weekend passes from jail, and walk-ons off the street, and against all odds, beat a Cowboys team who had several star players cross the pickett line, such as Tony Dorsett, Danny White, and Randy White It was an outright miracle.
Think of our scab players as Wade, Fabini, Prioleau, Caldwell, Leigh Torrence, Farris, etc.
And think of the Cowboy pickett-line crossers as Romo, Owens, Ware, etc.
Let's hold out hope for the Scab Bowl II !!!"

We get 'Tana and Washington back.

So basically we're without our 2nd best corner, best defensive player and best offensive lineman for this game.

The good thing is that the offense has looked good the past two weeks.

Still, we will miss Taylor. ST owns Terrell Owens. Seriously, TO plays like a little bitch every time he goes against us and thats because of Mr. Taylor.

Time for Landry to lay a couple of late hits on TO and Romo. I want to see Landry blitz atleast 3 or 4 times and just tear Romo a new one.

We're gonna get creamed. I won't even be watching this game. BTW, the game was moved from 1:00 to 4:15. Chances are Buck and Aikman are calling this game.

What is the best way to follow games online? Earlier this year I discovered that the game of football is quite interesting when u take the time to figure out how stuff works so I've been sorta following it for the whole nfl season whenever I get the games on TV.

This game doesn't seem to be on air though so I thought I'd ask if there are ways to follow it online.

Edit: Uh, that seems silly...I looked at the wrong schedule...it is infact on NASN so I can see it live :)

Uh the wizards board sure beats this one :p...

Anyways...the Dallas drive for touchdown was so frustrating. Awful snap at 3rd down and they still managed to convert it and then they have 3rd and 15 and of course get the 1st down. And Fletcher should have freaking caught the ball ://

Nice drive to end the half though. 10-7.. I guess it could be worse.

Jason Campbell is the answer.

Gregg Williams is not.

I like what I'm seeing from Campbell. I was expecting a blow out (as it appears most of you were) so give the Skins some credit given all of the injuries.

Campell continues to just miss on his deep ball and throw most balls just behind his wr's (save his long ball which is usually just ahead of them). Still, I'm more excited about Campbell at qb then I have been about any Skins qb in a long time.

Cooley should have caught that ball inside the 10 on that late drive in the 4th or else we could have been talking a Redskins win. Oh well. We basically need to win 5 out of our next 6 games.

Most of the teams from here on out are beatable. We just gotta putll out a win against New York or Dallas at home.

I think Dallas @ home is a shoe in, or as close to one as the Skins can get. I think they rest their starters by half time.
