Some random thoughts about the game:

- Nice to get Campbell in there, get him a TD pass, and get him out without getting hurt.
- In general the offense looked like everybody knew what was going on. Good sign.
- The O-line already getting hobbled with Wade and Heyer shaken up a bit.
- Colt Brennan is my new favorite third string QB. Not orthodox but definitely a gamer.
- I really like Mason again this year. He could supplant Cartwright if he could return kicks.
- Whoever #20 is (Tryon?), he's a bum. That dude #40 is WAY better.

Tryon is a much better player. He just had a bad night. That's all.

Best thing is the team looked prepared and well coached so it looks like we won't miss a beat in that regard.

Good showing by everyone though.

Agreed with the degree of preparedness. Zorn actually looked in command. Plus, I loved the vets celebrating Material's pick and TD... seems like chemistry is looser, but also focused. All good signs.

My only disappointment was the tackling (until late in the game), although it is tough to judge. We did have five starters and a couple of key reserves from the D out.

I really liked the game. The command of are QB's was nice to see. I'm really looking forward to the season. Sorry I wasn't able to talk about the game before the game, but internet access is limited. On another Note make sure you make the next game thread lets not start like I ended last season. Don't want to put any bad mojo on the Skins.

Early, but impressive.

Lyrical your already tempting the gods by not making the last game thread. I'm not going to make one for the next either cause you can tempt the gods I'm not going to do it myself again.

Okay the skins have decided for you Lyrical. There can not be an official game thread until the Skins lose. So from now on lets have all the talk on games in this thread.
