No Bamba for rest of reg season. Can we sign Noel he's only on 10 day contract with Nets. We can sign him for rest of season? Even give washed up ibaka a call. Maybe he still have a lil sth left in his tanks.

That's why I've been saying that we must target another Center because we are really thin in that position. Although I was worried it was AD who will be injured, the case is still the same with Bamba out, We don't have a legitimate C in this team right now (I still believe AD is more of a natural 4 than 5). It seems that we waited too long for signing a big from the buy out market. I don't know if there are some good enough bigs from the G league or maybe we are giving Boogie another call?

We need another big body there. Sucks for Bamba but if he's out for the season, you need to sign someone

Noel would be ideal, but he just signed a 10 day with the Nets. WCS would be great also, but he signed a 10 day with the Rockets. Would have been nice to have J.Huff right now because I'll take him over the rest of the garbage that's available.

For the love of god, not Cousins. And Not TT because I highly doubt he's in game shape for the role we need him in.

Favors might actually be in game shape, I'm good with that I guess...but Gabriel, Rui & Vanderbilt should be ready to play the backup 5 minutes moving forward.

We already saw what this team is like without another big when AD is out. So sign Noel.

Do we get some injury exception perk for Bamba?

So the team has forgotten they can sign one more player?

Are they waiting for Bamba to return before making a decision on who to sign?

For Bigs: Vernon Carey or WCS
For veteran and on court coach : Rondo

Carey has really good hands and runs well at his size. He can dribble and attack the rim with some 3 pt shooting ability too.
WCS is WCS
Rondo is a brilliant mind and a veteran you want on your team during playoff. A coach player who is respected by our big 2. A nice 3rd string PG.

If Bamba can return in the regular season, Rondo is the best choice. Otherwise, Carey is my choice right now.

I don’t get it either.

What’s up, Rob? There isn’t one serviceable big in the entire world that could’ve helped us through this stretch? What’s going on?

I think he's seeing if we can scoot by with just AD and Wenyen/LB playing center so we can sign a big wing for the playoffs

It's the only explanation that makes sense in my mind.

Because when you look at the depth chart, when everyone's healthy, the 3rd team SF is a hole.

Agreed. How would waiting help?

So we don't commit the spot to a C in case we need the SF later on.

It's hedging

Ah, I see. Well, I’d say that’s too careful and cute an approach this late. Competition is too good.

Assume we find a defensive C. I don’t see why AD couldn’t play PF for stretches. A rotation at SF of James, Rui, Christie (Vando, D Lo, Walker) isn’t that bad. AD could double as playmaking SF offensively until James is fully mobile.

Let’s get a defensive C today. There must be one on planet earth.
