Get Bell and Crittenton. Miller would be nice, but doubtful.

Unless the Blake deal is a sign and trade deal.

Matt Barnes is another guys the Lakers should consider going after. He made 1.6 mil last season. I believe the Lakers can offer just a little bit more than that with the remainder of the MLE. Sign him for 3 or 4 years. Word was that the Lakers were going after Barnes if we couldn't land Artest or Ariza so I don't see why he might not be on Mitch's radar again.

The thing is that we need another guard not a another forward.

i honestly believe the lakers are going to bring in Gerald Green.....Kupchak always liked him....and Green always seem to do good in summer leagues.

Raja Bell

His last 6 seasons...

Code: Select all

12.3 PTS, .403 3P%
14.7 PTS, .442 3P%
14.7 PTS, .413 3P%
11.9 PTS, .401 3P%
11.9 PTS, .421 3P%
11.8 PTS, .444 3P%

He will be 34 years old by the time the season starts, but he's still a solid defender and has been remarkably consistent from behind the arc which is precisely what we need. I would give him the $1.8 and call it an off-season.

yep. his defense, shooting, and mental toughness is perfect for the team. kobe, artest, and bell on the wings is by far the toughest sob's in the league. man, i'd love it if it happened.
