Against Denver when D Lo was kept on the floor, we had Christie and Lonnie on the bench. Christie has been ready for a while and it’s good to see him get the spotlight in summer league.

Give him his minutes earned.

Suddenly this team SL team looks great, full of high bbiq players.

I reaaally hope Ham is ready to actually use Christie this season, guy is looking like an absolute stud. This will happen if he can hit his 3s consistently, Ham will always incline to his smallball game.

Other guys are great projects, Castleton I'm still a bit skeptical as he doesnt look strong enough to bang insided an box out for rebounds/protect the him. But I hope he can do it among the big boys.

Missed it. Any noteworthy individual player contributions?

D’Moi Hodge looks like a legit defender with a pretty good quick release with his shot. He caught fire early but cooled down in the final quarter.
They kept mentioning that he hit 100 3’s (shot 40%, but just 35% the previous year)in his final year which is rare.
It was reported that he’s patterning his play with KCP. I have doubts though about his real height, looks more like 6-2 like Nunn than 6-4.
JHS has a nice pull up 16 footer, body looks more developed than a usual 20 year old. He seems like too eager to show his own offensive strengths, shooting too much than facilitating.
After 2 great games, Castleton was bothered by a bigger defender.
Max also has a much better pull up jumper, stroke from 3 compared to last year.

Doesn't know how to assess the Summer League team

They played like a team after 2 games. Played great with Christie showcasing his talent and hard work last season

Until the Boston game, they melt down in the second half. They were slaughtered against MEM. Their defense got exposed with no counter.

I was high no Castleton. He now know some of his weakness and hope he can train hard to earn a spot on the regular team

I am not very concerned with JHS. He still need some time obviously. He may not be a star or a steal of the draft. I still trust him to become a very good 2 way player for years.

Max Lewis sort of disappointing. Very passive on the offensive end. Maybe the coach didn't play sets for him. On the defensive end, he definitely need to raise his awareness on help defense. He has to help on grabbing rebounds. He was way too passive and a lack of awareness.
