I don't think it reflects on the series. Odom is going to be a question mark and his preformance in the finals will have alot to do with his value and what Mitch's decision will be on him. We may very well win and still move him.

Would you guys trade Odom for Turkoglu straight up (forgetting that the salaries don't match for a moment)? I think Turk would fit in very well with this team. Assuming Bynum is back to normal, the rebounding dropoff wouldn't be a big deal (with Bynum and Gasol up front), but a ton of playmaking pressure would be taken off Kobe.

You don't trade big for small especially when the small you are getting back has had major problems his entire career. Not to mention the Lakers have had a great record with Gasol for only half a season.

I love how Odom has a decent 1/2 of a game, score 2 points more than Pau and its Pau who needs to go.

To trade talented, dependable players like Odom or Gasol for a talented but mentally flawed head case who is always a step away from suspension, quitting, or arrest is crazy.

As a Heat fan i would love to have Odom back and would give up Marion in a heartbeat. That is probably a better trade for all involved.

I would welcome Odom back, lets get Butler too and reunite the band! pair them with derrick Rose or Mike Beasley and all is well in the Sunshine State..

On the real Marion and garbage for Odom and garbage is probably the rare trade where all involved make out well.

So to know who has to go the only thing we gotta look is the last game played? You ever heard about averages?

Baron doesn't really fit our team.... we need a lock down defensive sf who is money from distance

Marion
Artest
Battier

am I forgetting anyone? (ak=too expensive and inconsistent)

The Kings have no incentive to do an Artest/Odom swap (as proposed a few times in this thread already). Odom isn't a legitimate 4, there's no age significant difference between Artest & Odom (Odom is actually a few days older), and there's no contract difference as both are expiring.

I'm glad you caught the sarcasm.

About as laughable as your original proposition.
