I have been diagnosed with heart failure. So for the rest of my life Im on blood thinners. My strokes was caused of blockages of blood vessles to the brain.

I didn't realize the Lakers documentary is being directed by Antoine Fuqua. Now I'm actually looking forward to watching it.

It helps that the US federal reserve can raise interest rates independently. If we did that in Europe, countries like Italy and Spain would default on debt.

Haven’t seen the Redeem team’s documentary on Netflix yet but I’ve been seeing a lot of people posting about it and praising Kobe and his work ethic.

And then it hit me, from 2007-2012.

In this 5 years span Kobe played:

2007 FIBA qualifiers, 3 NBA championship trips, and 2 Olympics.

I watched it and missed Kobe. Kobe's work ethic and mentality literally changed that team. That team is losing until Kobe came. It also shows Kobe's leadership especially when they faced Pau and the Spanish team. A really good film to watch.

A reminder of how we always circle back to the past, the twitter universe is now realizing the significant positive impact content moderators have played in successful and engaging online forums. On the plus side, being a RealGM moderator is now an asset on your resumes.

Just got back to the States from a week in Japan. Mainly Tokyo and Kyoto.

That is an amazing country with incredible people.
Can't wait to go back.

Nice! I’ve been planning a Nordic odyssey of sorts with the girlfriend for the coming year to see the Lapland, Route 1 in Iceland or maybe the Faroe Islands but Japan would be our ideal long distance destination. I’ve had friends who visited Tokyo and said the sushi at Tokyo harbor is a different level altogether.

That sounds like a great trip you're planning.

Sushi was out of this world. Had it 5 out of the 7 nights we were there. Hard to describe how fresh and good it was.

I've been through the ringer... covid deaths, friends suicides, just had a friend murdered and David Crosby died after we cut an album and he was going to sing on a song I wrote that really needed him and we went through our own saltiness

I know i've been pretty mia and i'm just wondering- who's left? tony montana crazy but real... we need more of that. The starlet that got away almost twenty years ago.. kindof an amazing followup story out of the blue but I'm not going there if we can't rally as a board or platform.
