So nice to have Nash back on the floor. He's in such control of the offense. I know we aren't as good as OKC or Miami right now but if Howard gets healthier and we gain more chemistry we'll have a shot. What's more i loved how Kobe and Nash didn't interfere with each other's play. Kobe played great in this offense and that's a testement to how good a shooter he really is.

One thing that made me really happy that has been proven repeatedly throughout the years; Nash is not that bad of a defender. He isn't that quick , but he tries and doesn't give up on a play and he's a really solid help defender. It's scary that while he's helped us on the offensive end, he's actually improvement on the defensive end as well. Praise Nash!

Why would I waste my time? I've only watched a couple of thousand NBA games over the past two-plus decades, and I've long since made peace with the reality of sports, which I spelled out previously.

When you're dealing with human beings, mistakes are going to be made. In some cases they will be mind-boggling, as was the particular play that has drawn your ire. It sucks that perfection is impossible.

But to blow it out of proportion beyond that -- sorry, I'll pass.

Did anybody else scream when Pau drove past Jason Kidd (6th all time in Steals) and hammered the two handed bash on Camby/Melo?

Nope. I was very suprised. I havent seen Pau do that since 2010 when we last went back to back!!!
So I was very shocked. Thing is, we shouldnt be shocked, he should be like that most of the time. Dont get me wrong, Im happy he showed he has some balls, but I would be impressed when he could give his all night in and night out.

Nice win with some encouraging signs.

Unfortunately Pau's play at the end is fools gold and only the result of a miscommunication on D by the Knicks...

He played pretty poorly during the rest of the game especially on the defensive end...

He is gonna need to step it up or he needs to go.

My brother and I went nuts. That dunk was the equivalent of a gamewinner from Kobe as far as my excitement level goes.

But no, they kept battling back just as they did against GSW. I thought the refs were terrible overall today for both teams. Here's the sparknotes version of the recap since it's Xmas!

Pau- :o

knicks fans sure know how to take some consonants and vowels and weave together the most over-reactionary reactions i've ever read. could've sworn some loose screws on this forum were logic starved, but they're far worse and severely outnumber what we got. one of the league's top records so far into the season at 20-8, they lose to us and they already want felton canned and amare traded for rondo. someone even wants to take it as far as to say kobe's taking hgh. they're alright to converse with on topics outside of basketball, but they sure know how to turn an ant pile into a manhole. i guess that's what isiah thomas does to you.

To be fair, Felton has been playing like crap. I'm amused by the constant complaints about the refs. We have it here too, but every page it's the refs screwing them.

I'm excited with this team though; hopefully Pringles really makes an effort to put Pau in the post, mix it up.

Big win today.

You really don't realize just how good of a player Steve Nash is unless he's absolutely destroying your team or he's playing FOR your team. The guy is an absolute basketball genius. Just makes the right plays. He also gets a lot of crap defensively, but you can sure as heck get a lot worse.

Nice efficient game by Kobe and a hell of a statement dunk there by Pau Gasol with 12 seconds left.
