LET'S F***ING GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's all that needs to be said. Go Lake Show.

I was at the game in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago and they couldn't f**k with us when we played with our heads on straight. No McDaniels is absolutely massive. No Gobert is meh. No Naz Reid is massive.

Drive the ball to the basket every time, don't turn the ball over and once we drive the ball and kick out to open shooters - make shots. I'm looking at you Beasley, D-Lo, Troy Brown and Rui.

I'm not scared of either Den OR Mem

I'm more worried about Clippers and Suns and heck even Kings - damn they must of had a good season - surprised about them.

I'll be watching got entire week off work missed last weeks games, need to make up for it ;)

Let's get the win and prove to everyone we/Lakers mean business

Conley completely outplayed Russell, that cannot happen again. Schroder was vital with his pressure defense disrupting their offense.
Edwards had a horrible shooting night just like the other night versus the Pelicans, he is due for a hot shooting night.
Will AD wake up from his offensive stupor? Unless he’s exhausted or just being passive letting James do the heavy lifting on offense?
Was Rui really effective guarding Towns or did he get just lucky?

Rui was terrific guarding KAT. And he’s able to play the P&R effectively .

AD needs to eat KAT alive he cannot guard him. If he plays aggressive then this will be a W.

With Gobert out, there is no excuse for not getting this win. I know it has so much potential to be a trap game, and I don't think it'll be a cakewalk by any means, but AD needs to treat this game as a status defining game....He should dominate KAT. And if he plays the type of game he's capable of, even if Edwards goes off and/or Conley outplays Dlo I'm pretty confident that they'll grab the W.

As long as AD is aggressive and teammates are looking for him, should be ok. Vandy on Ant and a combo of AD/Rui on KAT should do the job on their scorers.

Yup. I originally posted about how the Lakers should start Rui instead of Vanderbilt on another thread, but with Gobert out, Vanderbilt should start and just focus on frustrating Anthony Edwards from the get go. Reeves and Lebron can handle Anderson and I'm guessing Prince who will be inserted in the starting lineup.

We actually have a chance to go all the way to the finals, after this strange season.

Let’s use these first two opponents (Wolves and Grizz) to tighten up the defense.

Ball movement on offense is looking better and better by the day. Ham seems to have instilled enough confidence in all role players that we don’t get stuck with any Bron-Bouncy-Ball at all, lately. Let’s keep that up!

Defensively, I’ll just be politically correct and say we need more ball pressure and harder fighting above screens. Less reactive passivity from our guards, more proactive activity needed — defensive fire, conviction. Also, defensive rebounding box outs have seemingly dwindled during the last five games. No room for error anymore.

Do or die. Let’s get it!

Need a big game from Davis and the effort better be there as we are likely to switch on defense 1 through 5.

I think it's a mistake to look past the Wolves... On paper, there are a lot of good signs here, but the Wolves were playing really good ball at points this season. They're capable of beating us... And the win one game or go home format of the play-in doesn't really seem to suit our team... LeBron and AD seem to do better in a Series, where they have a bit more time to settle in.

They can't afford to let the game come to them. If we let the Wolves get a good lead out the gate, they could run away from us.

Got the day off so I’ll be able really enjoy the game rather than trying to follow while I’m at work, lol. I’m super excited. Hope the boys show up in a big way!

I think we’ll get an early big lead, which worries me. Would be good to see us disciplined when in the lead. If up by ten, they should eye being up by 20. When up by 20, eye being up by 30, which takes a team who is used to winning. We don’t have winning habits instilled yet. Before the finals, that entitlement and skill better be there or we won’t beat the Keltics.
