Trade for Jaren Jackson Jr

Post#1 » by Sports Panther » Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:01 pm

Trade Mo Bomba, Dennis S. and # 17 to Memphis for Jaren Jackson Jr. Jackson Jr next to Anthony Davis would gives us the defense we need to beat Denver. Really like the way his mom supports him and keeps him motivated. Never underestimate the power of a mother.

I know he shouldn’t have won it, but he just won DPOY he will cost a whole lot more than that package.

I don't think Grizzlies will agree to this trade. Reigning DPOY for Bamba, Dennis and #17? Maybe you could get Steven Adams + fillers for that but not JJJ.

Dream big
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

We don’t have the additional 4 first round picks this would take even if Memphis was willing to trade him.

They’ll ask for AD in return.

I’m happy with BroLo and/or Landale.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Sold … Adams is what we need. Davis insurance so we can compete with him out. And we need both + LeBron + Rui to deal with Joker and his giants. It’s pretty challenging to beat Denver without 4 bigs that can play defense together.

JJJ is not available teamed up with Smart.

Memphis could become a true defensive for the decade type team by going after Draymond. He would is the vet needs to truly unlock JJJ + Smart. Sometimes you need a vet to unlock the young guys. DFish really organized the game plans with Durant, Russ and Harden in 2012 to make the Finals. 1 vet with championship experience can help. KCP with Denver

I like Adams but Bamba is already waived. Seems like we're going with Bro Lo.
