Lakers nation with Trevor Lane. I met the guy last year in Vegas. We took a picture together and talked some lakers before I let him be. He was there in July for the summer league or whatever it was. (I was there w my wife shopping) . He's a true gentleman, really nice guy.

I'm jealous that you got to meet Trevor. He does seem like an amazing dude. I've sent in some SSuper chats on the Lakers Nation Youtube channel. Trev ?Dogs on my bucket List on people I want to meet even more so than actual NBA players
I wanted to go to the Vegas Summer League had I recovered from my stroke.

There are others there but they don’t look as professionally done as the first 2.

Thanks brother. Recovery is slow but Im optamistic. ?Rehab helps and hopeful to walk again

I'm also a big fan of Trevor Lane and Keith Smith's NBA Front Office show. Keith is a legendary Real GMmember(Most likely on the Celtics board) and they reference Real GM quite often.

As for Trevor, I wouldnt be surprised if he gets picked up by the bigger networks soon...

Trevor is definitely becoming THE spokesperson for the Lakers on youtube.

However one thing I find annoying is how he always introduces each video with "Welcome IN !!!!"

I like to watch the channels showing the unstoppable triangle offense of 2002.

The question of the OP was ... Youtube Lakers themed channels "You follow" ... didn't say they had to be legit or not.

As It stands Is good to listen too and that's my opinion, like him or hate him, that's my opinion and those two are the only ones I listen too on youtube.

I wasn't commenting on it. It was just a question - to be taken at face value, since I haven't seen it before & looking to add to my subs list. Appreciate the review. I'll give it a shot.

My Lakers Spotify list in the following order -
Lakers Exceptionalism(Cranjis & Tom)
Silver Screen - now Lakers Lounge
Front Office Show(this can be eliminated from the list cos they cover all of NBA)

LFR(Darius, Mike & Pete)
Locked On(Kam Bros)
Laker Nation

I have much less patience for the latter three now, since they've become pro-Jeanie company men over the last year or so. LFR & Kam Bros are formally contracted by Jeanie, while Trevor's network probably does it in return for some favors like access to info / player interviews / merch / cold hard cash. I just can't deal with that much simping disguised as genuine news reporting.

I feel Cranjis, Tom & Anthony do the best job in calling their BS & holding them accountable. While at the same time the other 3 pods will placate over Jeanie/FO's mistakes and paint the picture they want to put out there.

I distinctly remember a pod in January from Laker Nation with all 5 of them agreeing to the fact that there was no trade that could make the Lakers remotely competetive >> just gotta eat Russ' contract. You're either getting compensated or a straight up causal to put that out about a team with two top 10 players in the league.
