Go Lakers!

Let’s not under estimate this team, please.

Surely, LBJ has circled this game, so I think we’ll win tonight, but I worry about us having to rely on grampa’s physique every night. 28-30 MPG should be enough once Vando and Nice are back. Tendons get old for everyone. Ask Kobe. Father Time…

I hope rest of team lets him play light minutes tonight; by virtue of perimeter defense. We should be able to put these guys out,

NBA 4th in DRTG isn’t good enough. It’s the perimeter defense that seeps and needs improvement.

No defense being played in this game lol

And we’re missing 4 of our more solid defender (Vando, Vincent, Rui, Reddish)

Our dumb turnovers are going to be the difference in this game when it’s all said and done

Good to get a win in Cleveland. They’re a good team. Giving up 70 on the first half is worrisome.

Good team win. Probably would have lost if Garland didn’t leave at halftime, but we are still short handed on the perimeter and it’s part of the 82 game season. I’m hoping we can stick to 2-3 games behind the top 3 teams by the all star break so we have a chance for home court when things turn up in the last 30 games of the season. A play-in run won’t happen 2 years in a row.

Lakers are just half a game behind for No. 3 in the west. Thanks to the Clippers beating the Mavs.

I liked what I saw with AD & Reaves

They need to take care of business on this road trip

Yeah, it’s a marathon. Without Vando, we’re short handed defensively. He was our Ariza/MWP in the last playoffs, one of the main reasons we got to the WCF. The defensive difference between Vando and Reddish is huge. The same is true for Reaves and D Lo.

It seems to me that Pelinka’s plan every year is to give early season minutes to whom he knows are questionable players seen as sleepers who with minutes can improve a lot to benefit the team, or at least avoid trade. Malik Monk etc. it’s a good plan, to give all players a fair shot and a fresh start.

So I think D Lo and Reddish have been given minutes to prove their defense but I believe it’s also to keep up their trade value, ‘since they’re starters’.

Our perimeter defense is leaking too much. Giving up 70 points in a half to Cleveland simply isn’t cutting it. Reaves and Vando are much better defensive players at the 1 and 2 spots.

Looking forward to Dec 15. I don’t think Rob is done building this team.
