much rather have Lonnie and O'Neal than DFS... and if we include hood, we could get away with not putting in a pick

Remember this POST... Irving & Curry for D'Lo, Rui, 29 1st & Christie... Dallas is DONE with Doncic & Irving...

Lakeshow Baby...

Lakers Land Irving

Dallas is DONE with the Irving experiment & Doncic wants to WIN now & needs help...

Lakers land Irving & Curry (limited minutes) for D'Lo (SG with Doncic), Rui (long 4 they covet), 29th pick & Christie (upside)...

Irving gives us speed, range, playmaking and is an All Star... Curry helps hit 3's & is an under rated team defender...

D' Lo would thrive next to Doncic & Rui is the long 4 they need alongside Lively... Doncic, D' Lo, Hardaway, Rui & Lively...

Lakeshow Baby...

This is beginning to feel like a damp dud.

If we got Kyrie... for that package mentioned....that is literally the best thing we could possibly get without giving up AR!!! (not likely)

Kyrie has already won a championship with LeBron and he's one of the best closers in the game, that doesn't even include all these other assets. I'm done with people trashing him. in the right situation, he is one of the best players in the league!

He's a better player than harden, and a smaller nutcase than him too. look at what the clippers are doing with harden now...

I think Kyrie might be the best possible fit/talent for this team right now, but they'd pretty much have to HATE him to trade him for that package... I'd be all-in, but it's not happening...
Really doesn't feel like anything is happening... I think Lavine was still our top target and when he went out, we may have called it a trade season...

Has there been a more quiet trade deadline? I guess we stand pat.

Would you consider AR for Caruso?

If LA double down on Russell at the point guard, i think Caruso would be ideal guy to put next to him.

Welp, deadline fast approaching. LAL sees the hourglass, makes no moves. Picks up no point guard and/or 3pt shooter. Will that be the headline?

The fact that they're struggling to shore up their backcourt for 3pt shooting and perimeter defense goes to show the 'positionless' basketball tag isn't everything. That's always been the struggle for shooting guards. Historically, very few shooting guards were also great defenders. You get your lunch pal guards who look the part but defending is where they're likely to struggle.

I would if contacts were same... but would not pull trigger. AR has that chemistry built... can't mess that up when we are in the race for a chip. I think trading an unprotected 2029 first round pick might be overpaying for Caruso and Drummond.... but I think that's the trade to make: Gabe Vincent, c. wood and a unprotected FRP fo Caruso and Drummond.

They have more bigs than they need. Wendell Carter JR, Wagner brothers, Banchero. They still need a real PG
