Lucky Number 7.

What is the community thread?
A variety chat thread, a smörgåsbord of non-basketball related topics.

From circumcision to in-n-out double-doubles, cars parts to body parts, tidbits of family life to tales of hellbound hedonism. Anything goes, including soccer.

A place to get to know some of the posters, kick up the feet, toss back a few, shoot the easy breezy.

Rule 1 of Comm Thread: Nobody talks about the Lakers or NBA related stuff.

Rule 2 of Comm Thread: What's said in Comm Thread stays in Comm Thread.

Rule 3 of Comm Thread: No hackneyed references to Fight Club.

i got punched in the face at McDonald's on Sunday night for wearing my Lakers jersey (number 8, retro).

I am in Boston. if we make the finals they just might try to stab me. but that'll just prove that i bleed purple and gold.

i know we cant do Lakers-related stuff, but i got beaten up because im a Laker fan. i'll gladly take the beating again.

Lost Angel, that's nuts.

I know what you're talking about though, here on the east coast, that Lakers jersey is a target on your back in enemy territory!

Most incidents that I've been involved with were mostly pushing and shoving and yelling. Don't fly solo, man, you gotta roll deep when you put on the purple and gold armor.

Hi guys!

Newbie here... Been reading the forums for quite a while now. I must say, this is the best site regarding basketball, I am getting addicted to this site. I visit here everyday!

Many posters here are geniuses talking about basketball!

Sorry for my english...hehe
btw I am a Pinoy Lakers fan! Go Lakers!

Tony is the Mang..

Called Tony today for a diagnostic over the phone for the benz and we walked me throught it and fixed the problem.

Straight punched in the face? That's nuts.

The one time someone gave me grief for wearing a Lakers jersey was also at a McDonalds (go figure..) I was walking by and some dad turns to his kid and says "Look at this f'ing Chinese guy wearing a Kobe jersey." in a THICK Boston accent, and he also used the real curse word. I just pretended I didn't hear.

I just think it's effed up though that people would teach their kids to hate like that.

no I have a gibson acoustic/electric and an ovation. used to make beats and do hip hop whic got me a short stint signed with Warner Bros. but i got out cuz my manager was a POS.

i have a couple CD's though; the lyrics are still as gangsta as ever.

You guys wont believe this .
Im going out on a date with a 42 year old Lawyer , SHE IS HOT .
About 5.7 , blue eyes , Big old eyes :eyebrows:

she was wearing a suit with glasses .
You know the school teacher type we all use to dream about getting hit on when we were in high school .
She picked up on me at the gas station last friday .
Well I actually approached her about her car , she had a sick droptop Mercedes SL65 AMG .
It was burgandy .... Very rare car to be driven daily .
I mean the SLs and SL55s are a bit common but not the SL65s , since they are limited additions.

Anyhow I kept looking at her car you know like I was eye ******* her car as I was pumping gas after I got out the gym .
You know dress all black , got my Jordan shorts on with my tanktop and my black jumpmans , so she asked me if everything is okay .
I told her , oh ya , that I loved her car and you know she had this glare in her eyes like she was a kid in a candy store .
Then she said "So you like what your looking at "
Now ....I do realize that my HARD ON in my shorts was mostly for the car since it is one of my favorite cars , BUT HEY SHE STARTED IT .

So as my manly duties , I had to take it to the next level and I told her .
"There's nothing more sexier than a beautiful women in a Sexy car like that " :noway:

So she replied back " Really ? How is it you know so much about this car"
So I had to threw my little quick introduction speech I usually do to gain customers and then she asked me for a card .
I turned to grab a card out my truck and she was basically a few inches away from my back .
She asks me as she started leaning on my A55 , "Did you find your card ?"
So as I looked back she is smiling at me like she wanted to grab me from the back and tear me in half .
So I grab my card and I really didnt have any room to turn , and as I turned around now we are face to face .
So I give her my card and then she asks me if my cell phone N# is on there just incase she has an emergancy .
I told her that it doesnt , so she asked me if I can take hers down and call her right away .
I said sure , she grabs her phone and she takes my N# and calls me and she made sure that I locked her N# in so incase she calls me I know who it is .
Any ways a few days went by and she actually called me a few minutes ago , and she asked me out to a party in Diego .
She lives in Carlsbad , she is an International Lawyer and I guess the party Im invited to on Sat is for IBM Ceo or something .
Anyhow she wants me to pick her up at her house and she asked me if I would have a problem is she asked me to stay over ....... :evil:

So I told her Im not sure , but I will let her know by Sat .
You know , A mans got to play hard to get too .............. :rofl:

Oh pep this , she knew that I lived in Italy as I told her while I was talking to her .
So she satrted to text me after we finished talking .
She asked me when was the last time I took a vacation , so I told her about 2 years ago , so she asked me if I would be able to take one in the next two months .......
I relied back I dont know , WHY ?
SO she replied dont worry about it HONEY , we'll talk Sat night about it .....

Dammmmmmmmmmmm .....
I havent been with an older women in a LONGGGG time , and she is aggressive as a M.F ...........
Anyways Mangs I wanted to share that with you guys and I will keep you guys posted for sure .
