Yeah, Im talkin about Azubuike lol.

I understand what you're saying about the North Face brand. It's too popular and that makes it more prone to get robbed.

Miles, if you have a MacBook, you could go for something artistic with your backpack.

If you don't mind using a sling backpack, this one is pretty good.

and this is one the one I currently use for my Dell:

Pretty sturdy and trendy too but if you wear business wear to work, the backpacks might seem a little awkward.

interesting suggestions, I wonder if a sling would still be fairly balanced. I don't mind stodgy backpacks either, definitely a theft-deterrent.

No way it was a whole fkkn 45 seconds.

All I felt was a all shaking for about 3-4 seconds, and then a huge shaking for about 2 seconds following that.

It couldve been more than 6-7 seconds.

but anyways for me it was like 10-20 seconds ish....at the climax it was really shaking but fortunately it died down immediately

ours was 45 seconds for sure. I have a whole building of people here who timed it and it's consistent with what I was looking at too. My theory, however, is that we are on the second floor and the building was swaying long after the ground stopped moving.

Well you still have Internet so it isn't that bad I hope... looking at the news channels as I speak. It is weird I could call my friend who is in Cerritos but she can't call anyone or get any calls from her family in the greater LA area,

After the initial jolt, my house kept swaying slowly for a good 30 seconds. Freaky, seasick inducing feeling like CC described. I just sat here in awe, watching mother earth toy with us. To her, this was just a little clearing of the throat/squeaky fart. We're so small, it's not even funny.

I live very close to cerritos (like close as in 100 meters) and my mom tried to call me from her work and she said she couldnt get through right after the quake
