SB, I got you. I havent forgotted.

Thing is, I got a gig yesterday with a guy up in NJ who started up his own skateboard company.

I showed him some of my work, and well, im hired!

Im designing two decks and the logo for his company now. Its a pretty big gig for me, so I wanna spend my time on that right now.

Get paid for doing what I love (gfx) AND get free decks with my designs? How can I fkkk this up? hah.

I wont forget though. If youre willing to wait, i'll be more than happy to make the sig for you (neither of your pic links work BTW). Just gimme a few days to finish this skating stuff first.

is that cool with you?

Speaking of skateboards, anybody else see Paranoid Park, by Gus Van Sant? I thought it was uneven but interesting - he's definitely an artist.

Also, the best movie I have seen this month is "The Band's Visit," about an Egyptian band that gets stranded in an Israeli town. Hilarious and quite insightful, very well done.

Gotta see Batman soon.

Damn Kno...Congrats...Im still job hunting...at this rate...one more month of summer vac to go...and 32 applications later, no hire...

For now 2 a days for track training..

actually thats pretty smart waiting so that yall get good seats...actually I dont know if theres still alot of people going to see that

at least it beats waiting for 2 hours in the theater like i did to see the premier at 12...actually the seats were pretty comfortable and everybody just hanged out

Haha well, the reason(s) I haven't seen it yet is because:
1) the night it came out all times were sold out (obviously, lol), I didn't buy tickets ahead, because I was in Edmonton.
2) went to watch it the Sunday after - went an hour early but it was sold out, again.
3) during the week I had to help pack and help overall clean the house, because I was moving at the end of August for University. I had little time in August to do actually cleaning, because of
4) I had surgery this past Thursday so I wasn't in the state to be able to watch a movie. I would go now, because I am feeling better.. except I still can't wear my contacts or glasses, because there is a cast over my nose. :lol:

I was looking forward to the movie, too. I'll probably eventually not even end up watching it in theatres and will most likely just buy it when it is released on Blu-Ray.
