Kalus is going to be a good NHL one player one day. He has adjusted well to the NA style of play, and has had success at the same time.

Still, a good trade by the Bruins.

Nice! Sucks to give up Kalus. He was our 3rd best prospect behind rask and lashoff. But I am Glad we got manny!

Good move Chia!

How do you guys feel Minnesota did on this deal? I don't know much about Kalus, but he sounds like a good young prospect and we got a pick out of it. Just seemed we should have gotten more for Fernandez. Any thoughts?

You guys got a good deal. You cleared the cap, and recieved an almost ready prospect. Kalus has good offensive potential, and isn't afraid of contact either. Boston was quite high on him, so you definitely got enough.

As a Bruins fan, I'm happy. We have been in desperate need for a goaltender since Byron Dafoe left and Andrew Raycroft crapped the bed after a good rookie season.

Excellent trade for the Bruins. Now they wont have just sporadic goaltending, though I do like Tim Thomas.

I like him too, the guy is fiery and he was one of the B's few bright spots last season. But the guy is a backup, and he's been overachieving the past few seasons. But, now the goaltending positon is set, and know Thomas will play the role as the best backup in the leauge IMO
