Well Doan came through for the Yotes. I still don't think they can win this series but it was a great game.

I still don't think they win another game.

Too bad, but maybe this is good for the kings.

Ya definitely agree with you. This is gonna sound kinda wierd but I feel like they need to lose a couple to bring them down to earth. A little adversity never hurts, even though this team has had plently of it in the regular season.

Rupp's gotta get at least a game for punching Brodeur right?

Yeah. Hell, all the stuff he was doing during the shift you could tell he was gonna do something dumb.
Anyone else been bored with these Conference Finals?

The east for sure. But i've been loving the Kings Yotes series, great goaltending, tons of big hits and some nice goals.

East Finals have been brutal. Basically it's been two periods of nothing happening followed by one team getting two quick goals and knowing the other team can't come back from that.

Kopitar was having a great game before he scored a goal. And I know he works for the Blues but NBC has to find a way to get Darren Pang on their broadcasts more often.

Re: 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs (Conference Finals pg. 24)
This game has been easily the best of the conference finals and one of the top five in the entire postseason.
And I completely agree, twirly, Pang is great. This three man booth of Strader/Pang/Engblom is terrific. It's not getting him off Blues telecasts, it's prying him away from TSN that will be the problem.

Good to see an overtime game. Haven't been watching the conference finals too closely but this should be great.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

That is one of the most surreal overtime endings I've seen since...well, when Vancouver went to the Cup Finals last year.

lolz at Milbury complaining that the whistle blew before Brown hit Rozsival and that Brown should've let up. Yeah, it technically did blow before the hit, but this is the position of Brown right after the whistle blew.
Tell me, how exactly is Brown supposed to avoid hitting him at that point?

Great pic to show that he shouldn't have gotten a kneeing penalty too, making contact with the upper body.
Pretty classless interviews post game by Doan and Yandle essentially blaming the series on the Kings, even Yandle mentioning the refs jerseys are the same colour. Ummm guys, you got vastly outplayed around 80% of the series,

Phoenix is up to the Vancouver level of whining and diving to me right now.

Re: 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs (Conference Finals pg. 24)
It seemed like in this series, Phoenix had more great scoring chances that they whiffed on than in any series I've seen in recent memory from anyone. Vrbata should have had about four or five goals in the series. Meanwhile, the Kings just shot the puck and pounced on Smith's rebounds.

Re: 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs (West Champs - LA Kings)
Well I got 1 out of 2 correct at the beginning of the year. In our prediction thread, I had the Kings against Buffalo in the cup finals. One of those predictions went horribly wrong.
