Carey Price re-signs, 6 years, 39 million. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic. Now we just gotta lock up PK.

Steep cap hit there on Price, but can't stay that no one expected it.

I thought anything under 7 was great for both sides. If he didn't get it from the Habs, he would've from someone else.

Jokinen goes to the Jets, 2 years 9 million. Like it a lot for the Jets, they really needed another center that can score and some size up front. Jokinen addresses both of those needs for a reasonable price.

The Blackhawks are interested just enough in Parise for it to be really disappointing when he signs in Pittsburgh.

He's pretty happy about that deal.

That is a very good signing for the Jets.

Raleigh reports the Canes have made the Blue Jackets a "strong trade offer" for Nash. Now, they just have to convince Nash to agree to Carolina being a team for whom he will agree to the trade. They need to have the Staal's talk with him. Try everything you can to convince him to come.

Jagr apparently no longer interested in Habs or Bruins. I don't think he was ever interested in the Bruins, but I woulda loved to see those two teams duke it out over him. Spice up the rivalry even more.

Jagr apparently doesn't have an interest in the Cup, clearly all about the money.

I joked about the Stars last night, but they have a helluva top six now. They've been so void of offense yet just missed out on the playoffs the last few seasons, they could easily crack the top 8 this season.

@brianlawton9 Sorry about late night ...... Just back in town. Not sure yet on Parise but word is Ryan Suter will be playing for the MN Wild next season!

Mike Russo also said things sounded very positive when it comes to Suter to the Wild as of 11 pm tonight, he also believes if the Wild get Suter they also get Parise.

And suddenly, twirl's allegiance with the Predators vanishes.

Nope. Preds still #1 but at least the Wild won't be as brutal to watch this season.
