Sounds like the Sharks are interested in Doan. At this point does anyone expect him to go back to Phoenix?

Very good news for Canes fans. Looks like Skinner will get a 6 year extension. He has 1 yr remaining at over $1 mil, but dont want to let him sniff FA. Reported that the extension will have an AAV of $5.725 mil. Good deal for both sides. Canes tying down the core of that team for the next few years. Smart move by Rutherford.

Now a done deal. Very nice.

Yeah smart move. With the crazy stuff being thrown around, I wouldn't want that kid to sniff free agency. Carolina has had a really nice offseason

Mr. Underwood signs a 2 year $8.4 million extension.

Yep, now we just need to lock up Eberle and we're set. If Hall can stay healthy this is going to be a steal.

Normally i'm not a big fan of these long contracts, but for these young guys i'm all for it.

I like the Hall extension. Very good deal for both. I expect to see his game start to really take off this coming season.

The only thing thats been holding him back has been his health. Now that his shoulder's 100% for the first time in forever I think we'll really start to see what he can do.

Smart move for The Oil locking up their core. With the new contracts in The NHL it's harder and harder to keep your young stars. If The Oilers develop their tealent right they could be a team that could compete for a Stanley Cup in less then 5 years.

How does Kyle Wellwood get $4 million a season? That is a headscratcher for me he's decent but doesn't do anything really well

Coyotes keep Shane Doan. When we see him on the ice again is the question.
