The Baby Pens are 2-1. Kris Letang has 3 points so far and Goligoski has 2 points. Filewich is off to a slow start.

trwi, I think you'd be interested to know that both Jake Dowell and Jack Skille are IceHogs, who are out to an early 3-0 lead in the 1st Period against the Iowa Stars

Skille has his first goal and a +3 towards the end of the 2nd Period, 6-2 Hogs.

Admirals and Wolves yet to score halfway through the game.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton down 3-2 late in the 3rd to Philly.

Grand Rapids and Manitoba tied at 1 after 1.

I'll try to keep games and standings updated as much as I can throughout the season, especially for those of us who have mentioned we are fans of certain teams

Yeah it only took overtime at home to beat a team whose coach is only coaching his third career game. Domination!

Can't say I expected it. Having their first 9 games on the road and looking like crap in Quad City, I was gonna be happy with .500 in this month, and still will be, but yeah, very surprised at this start.

The Ads actually beat Iowa, at home, for the first time since game 7 of the playoff series a couple years ago. :o

Rockford lost to Chicago in OT.

Hershey still winless and pointless, I love seeing that.

I was expecting a regulation loss for the Hogs, they gave Chicago a ton of opportunities at the end of the game to go out in front and they didn't capitalize. So, I'm happy with getting a point out of there.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton crushes Bridgeport 6-1.

Milwaukee and Chicago couldn't come out and play, their mommies said no. They can play tomorrow after church.

OK, so I've been to the BC once for hockey, was sitting about 5 rows from the glass in to corner, couldn't see a damn thing on the south end of the ice. I plan on coming up to at least one of the Hogs-Ads games, and while they're not for awhile, I wanna know what the best place is to sit for hockey.

You probably want to stay away from the "Stern and Bow" which is basically behind the nets hard to see what's going on on the other end.

For you I'd suggest sections 215, 216, 226 or 227 since that gives you a nice view of the whole rink but you'll be closer to the side of the rink that Rockford will attack twice.

IceHogs win 4-2 in Manitoba and that is all for the night.

Skille and Dowell both score for Rockford, Dowell the game winner
