i understand the keeper picks/positions we were supposed to have made and the above quote is exactly what caused me to get caught up in the error and lose some perspective on the matter

extra thanks to gyro for being the gentleman in this instance

Hey Guys!

so Mike has passed on the responsibility of being league comish, and because i won last year, i was obviously the perfect candidate to run the league. because of that, i have had to start a new thread, so i can make changes to the roster posts.

please bookmark the following thread:
viewtopic.php?f=197&t=1041008&p=24527599#p24527599

ive copied basically everything important over, and ive highlighted everyone's keepers who have posted so far.

Remember that keeper picks are due by July 31, 2010 and the draft will begin August 5, 2010. tell your friends.

please dont harbor any ill-will towards me when i win again this year.

your comish and best friend,
-Dan

Hey guys, sorry I didn't see this thread until now.

I would definitely like to see the total number of keepers increased, and with no restrictions on positional requirements for keepers.

I'd also like to see one statistical category added: Points.

As for my keepers:
3 forwards: Eric Staal, Martin St. Louis, Marian Hossa
2 defense: Mike Green, Dan Boyle
1 goalie: Tomas Vokoun (Damn you Nabokov!!)
1 rookie: Nikita Filatov

I look forward to another excellent season, gentlemen.

If anybody leaves this league and you need another player, I'll gladly join the league. Please PM me if a spot opens, cheers!

Hi league,

After much thought, I think it will be best if I resign as a GM of this league. I am approaching what will be the busiest winter of my life with work, gf and of course, sports! I am already in 4 other hockey leagues for money and I don't think I will be able to manage a 5th one accordingly. COXY, you are more then welcome to take over my team, with league approval. I thank you for a great season last year, it was a lot of fun, and I wish you all the best. I will definitely check in on the draft, but I wanted to give Coxy enough notice to prepare for the draft starting Sept 1st.

Good luck to all, and have fun. You'll still see my around on RealGM.

Cheers,
Royce
