Ill offer this idea for:
-Kings to add a defensive SG/SF to enhance their rotation
-Raptors get further depth and 2nds in dealing Brown to further maximize Siakam deal
-Hornets add a young starting SG in Huerter for rotational pieces
To Sacramento (Trade Huerter, Duarte)
-Bruce Brown (1 year, $23 million)
-2026 Charlotte 2nd round pick
To Toronto (Trade Brown)
-Cody Martin (1 year, $8.1 million plus T.O.)
-Vasilije Micic (1 year, $7.7 million plus T.O.)
-Chris Duarte (1 year, $5.9 million plus Q.O.)
-2025 Philly 2nd round pick via Charlotte
To Charlotte (Trade Martin, Micic, 2 2nds)
-Kevin Huerter (2 years, $34.8 million)
Why?
-Sacramento adds a defensive centric SG/SF to its rotation as they can re-sign Monk with Bird Rights to make him starting 2
Fox/Mitchell/FA?
Monk?/Brown/Jones
Barnes/Vezenkov/Ellis
Murray/Lyles/2nd?
Sabonis/1st/FA?
-Toronto fills out roster with 1 year guys while getting back a 2025 2nd and lets Trent walk.
Quickley/1st?/Micic
Dick/1st?/Duarte
Barrett/Agbaji/Martin
Barnes/Olynyk/McDaniels
Poeltl/Boucher/2nd?
-Charlotte adds a starting calibre 2 guard on a reasonable 2 year deal
Ball/Mann/Smith
Huerter/Curry/Gowens?
Miller/1st?/2nd?
Bridges?/Williams/Pokusevsky
Williams/Richards/Thor

nope, we need a PG who can make plays behind/alongside Melo much much more than we need yet another SG

Sure, I mean it all depends where they land and who they land in 2024 draft.

even if the Hornets do land one of the rookie PGs to pair with LaMelo, I'm having a very hard time valuing Huerter over Micic, let alone throwing in the 2nds. In that scenario I'm not totally opposed to trading Micic, but it would need to be for a forward or a big, Huerter's archetype as a role player scoring guard who can't run point or defend, is currently the only talent Charlotte doesn't need.
If all Toronto wants for Brown is Micic, a perennially injured Martin, and a young fringe SG, and a 2nd, I think Charlotte would just match that and take Brown ourselves for the season, but they're not going that low.

Toronto is better off maintaining cap space by moving on from Brown unless they can use the Indy pick to move up a few spots rather than get a bunch of fillers. Micic played well for Charlotte but he's a 30+ year old backup I am sure you could find a guy like him via the undrafted free agent market or bring one over from Europe as a fa

Hornets fan here this a no from me as well.
We don't need another shooter. Miller is our sg of the future.
