Redd Rescues the King
Cavs Receive:
Michael Redd-G
Charlie Bell-G
Bucks Receive:
Larry Hughes-G
Eric Snow-G
'08 1st rd Pick
Lebron finally gets legit help on the offensive end. Redd's 3pt and perimeter shooting is something that the Cavs have been missing on a consistant basis since LeBron's been in the league; Bell is no slouch in these areas either. The addition of Bell gives the Cavs a better 2nd option than Damon Jones. Also they also make something positive out of Larry Hughes' contract. This trade doesn't make them contenders to win eastern conference, but it does give them a fighting chance to move a few seeds and make some noise; a punchers chance if you will.
pg-Gibson/Bell
sg-Redd/Pavlovic
sf-James/Newble
pf-Gooden/Varejao
c-Ilgauskas/Jones
The Bucks get to start their rebuilding process, switching focus from Redd onto Bogut, Yi and CV. By trading Redd (3yrs left) for Snow(1 yr left) and Hughes(2yrs left) they get cap relief sooner. The first rounder increases the likelihood of the Bucks getting the future 2-guard; say an OJ MAYO or ERIC GORDON, etal. If they don't win the lottery, a second 1st rounder to package could help them move up, or the Cavs' pick could be used to draft rebounding help.
PG-Mo Williams
SG-Hughes/Simmons
who starts would be determined by who gets hurt first, and would step aside when the draft pick is ready to step in.
SF/PF- Villanueva/Yi
These two are both athletic enough to play the 3, and niether has shown the ability to do the dirty work needed from 4, which makes them interchangeable essentially; so why not have them on the floor simultaneously.
C-Bogut/Gadzuric
Admittedly not the best trade for both teams, but makes the most of both situations. And Redd gets to come home.
Fire away...

Horrible for the Bucks.
trwi7 (and everybody else) is correct; the Cavs don't have the assets to get Redd. You have to understand that Hughes still holds negative value; the fact he only has 2 years left as opposed to Redds 3 isn't any real big incentive. IF the Bucks just wanted to dump Redds salary they could do a hell of a lot better.
Heck the Lakers could just offer up Kwame & Vujacic (immediate $10 mil cap relief), Crittenton & a 1st. And no, that wouldn't get it done either.

It's fitting that the Bucks side of the transaction was written in green.

I think the best way to desribe this is "LMAO".
I mean jesus anyone ever seen a trade this horrible? It should have been posted in green.
Larry Hughes is a huuuuuuge negative
Snow is old and has a bad contract
The Cavs first rounder won't be that great
Redd is a 1st option and great shooter
Bell is a solid starter in the leauge
