Successful Trade. Trade ID #4394025

Image

The Chicago Bulls trade (6p):

Thabo Sefolosha
Andres Nocioni
Adrian Griffin
Ben Wallace
Ben Gordon
Joe Smith

The Chicago Bulls receive (8p):

Sasha Vujacic (expiring - cut)
Kevin Ollie (expiring - cut)
Keyon Dooling (expiring)
Maurice Evans (expiring)
Kwame Brown (expiring)
Carlos Arroyo (expiring)
J. Augustine (expiring)
Pat Garrity (expiring)
Fran Vazquez
ORL 2008 1st-round draft pick (lottery protected)
PHI 2008 1st-round draft pick (unprotected)
PHI 2010 1st-round draft pick (lottery protected through 2016)

Why this might work for Chicago: They give up on the season, re-tool for next off-season with four first-round draft picks, 10-15 million dollars capspace and a prospect in Fran Vasquez. They sacrifice a lot, including Ben Gordon, Andres Nocioni and Joe Smith. Chicago will buy-out Ollie and Vujacic, who become eligible for Orlando.

1) Carlos Arroyo - Chris Duhon - JamesOn Curry
2) Kirk Hinrich - Keyon Dooling - Maurice Evans
3) Luol Deng - Viktor Khryapa - Demetris Nichols
4) Tyrus Thomas - Pat Garrity - James Augustine
5) Joakim Noah - Kwame Brown - Aaron Gray

The Los Angeles Lakers trade: (5p)

Vladimir Radmanovic
Javaris Crittenton
Kwame Brown
Sasha Vujacic
Lamar Odom

The Los Angeles Lakers receive: (6p)

Thabo Sefolosha
Andres Nocioni
Adrian Griffin
Ben Wallace
Willie Green
Joe Smith

Why this might work for Los Angeles: They improve and stabilise their bench with trade, gain their long range shooting and acquire more durability for their play-off push.

1) Derek Fisher - Jordan Farmar - Thabo Sefolosha
2) Kobe Bryant - Willie Green - Adrian Griffin
3) Andres Nocioni - Luke Walton - Trevor Ariza
4) Ben Wallace - Joe Smith - Nocioni/Turiaf/Ariza
5) Andrew Bynum - Ronny Turiaf - Chris Mihm

Image

The Orlando Magic receive: (5p)

Javaris Crittenton
Reggie Evans
Lamar Odom
(Kevin Ollie)
(Sasha Vujacic)

The Orlando Magic trade: (7p)

James Augustine
Keyon Dooling
Maurice Evans
Carlos Arroyo
Fran Vazquez
Pat Garrity
J.J. Redick
2008 1st-round draft pick (lottery protected)

Why it might work for Orlando: They trade their expirings, Vasquez and a late first-round pick for Lamar Odom, whose ability to run an offense would be of great merit for their team. Evans provides toughness and rebounds off the bench, while Crittenton becomes the backup for Nelson.

1) Jameer Nelson - Javaris Crittenton
2) Keith Bogans - Sasha Vujacic
3) Rashard Lewis - Hedo Turkoglu
4) Lamar Odom - Brian Cook
5) Dwight Howard - Reggie Evans

IL: Battie, Ollie

The Philadelphia 76ers trade: (3p)

Reggie Evans
Willie Green
Kevin Ollie
2008 1st-round draft pick (unprotected)
2010 1st-round draft pick (lottery protected through 2016)

The Philadelphia 76ers receive: (3p)

Vladimir Radmanovic
Ben Gordon
J.J. Redick

Why this might work for Philadelphia: They get the steal of this deal: Green's and Evans' contracts run as long as Radmanovic, while they acquire Ben Gordon basically for a mid to late first round pick.

1) Andre Miller - Louis Williams - FA
2) Ben Gordon - JJ Redick - Gordan Giricek
3) Andre Iguodala - Thaddeus Young - Rodney Carney
4) Vladimir Radmanovic - Jason Smith - Shavlik Randolph
5) Samuel Dalembert - Calvin Booth - Herbert Hill

This is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo ridiculously bad for Philly. I mean, how does this help us out at all. No salary relief because we we substitute two fairly bad contracts for one really bad contract with Vlad, we lose an expiring with Ollie, and we give up an UNPROTECTED first for what!?!?!? Ben Gordon. Who we already have a younger version of in Lou Williams, and not to mention the fact that we wouldnt be able to re-sign him because this trade completely kills our cap space. Oh yeah and we give up a lottery protected first in 2010 for what exactly?????
No Thanks

To quote the immortal Rick James, cocaine's a hell of a drug.

Take out the 08 first and Radmanovic, and we'll think about it.

Maybe if you slip a few downers in Ed's drink, along with 6 or 7 uppers, three grams of crack, and some Billy King Ed wade DNA, Ed does it.

As a Sixer fan... I do not enjoy playing the role of Jodie Foster in "The Accused".

Sixers pass.

Why?

Aren't you a bulls fan. This is just plain stupid. The sixers won't even give Chicago that great of a pick.
