3&D is a gross mischaracterization of Bridges.

That's his game lol.

Is he a superstar or something?

You won’t see me walking around saying he’s a star.

But know theres a massive gap between 3&D and superstar.

No one would offer 2 1sts for a 3&D guy so clearly you understand the difference.

Either way from Brooklyns perspective I wouldn’t be interested in the Hornets picks. Their core players are too young.

OG got the equilvant of 2 1sts this year. Roco was traded for 2 1sts in value in 2020. Yes elite 3&D guys can pull 2 1sts.

Nets Get

- Giddey
- Pick 12 in 2024 draft
- 2025 Thunder 1st (top 4 protected)
- 2025 Jazz 1st(1-10 protected in 2025, 1-8 in 2026)
- 2025 Heat 1st (lottery protected in 2025, unprotected in 2026)
- 2025 Philly 1st (1-6 protected in 2025, 1-4 in 2026, 1-4 in 2027)

OKC gets Bridges

Nets get into this draft and then have a series of chances at high level prospects from multiple teams over the 2025, 2026, and 2027 drafts.

OKC gets Bridges who can naturally slot into a role as the 3rd/4th option on a contender.

If Nets wanted to truly rebuild (I don't get the sense their ownership/GM/coach plan to) Hornets could offer something like this years 1st, Miami 2027 1st and Dallas 2027 top 2 protected 1st plus swap short term salaries for Ben Simmons + Nick Smith Jr. I feel like that is a pretty good offer for the Nets if they wanted to blow it up and stock up on assets.

I honestly think unless Ingram has much more left in the tank well beyond his playoff performance this season that the Nets would pass on this deal OR the rumored Zion deal to BK would have more of a chance.

I do not have Ingram. He is a solid player. His comparisons were impossible to live up to.

This is not a bad offer. I just do not think BK will do this.

I think the bloom is off the rose some on Ingram, but he could still be flipped to a 3rd team for likely 2 more 1sts. Depending on the quality of the 1sts that is going to be very likely the top offer for Bridges unless Houston really wants to give Brooklyn its draft back or OKC just unloads.

Ingram is better 1st option then Bridges, Bridges is better 3rd option then Ingram.
Ingram was injured and was defended by top 3 defender in the league at his position while refs allowed 10 times more contact comparing to previous years. Look at Luka vs OKC now, and Luka is considered 2nd best player in the NBA.

All that said, im Ingram hater and i don't like his playstyle and i can understand if you feel like that, but we shouldnt pretend like Bridges is some kind of superstar.
If everything is going well, expect an WojBomb

It would be better to keep Ingram than trade him for that.

They can still get true value. Peak value was at the end of last season when people had truly ludicrous projections for Bridges based on a hot scoring streak filling the void left by KD as the volume scorer (without playmaking) on a losing team.

I suggested this in a different post, but something around Julius Randle, Deuce, Bogdanovic for Cam Johnson and Bridges? NOVA KNICKS v2.0!! Let's goooo!

The best offer is Brooklyn getting their picks back from Houston, and they said no to that. He seems very unavailable.
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Payne/Downtin
Maxey/Melton/Hield
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin
Embiid/Reed/Bamba

Wow. That’s a bit rich for Bridges isn’t it?
I would think cut out the thunder, Jazz and Heat picks.

Just throwing this out here, but what about Bridges and Cam Johnson for Ingram and Herb Jones? Puts additional pressure for the Pels to add a defensive anchor big but it adds more shooting to the equation.

Sac out: Barnes, Sasha, Davion, #13, 2027 1st, 2029 1st
Sac in: Bridges, Schroder

Nets out: Bridges, Schroder
Nets in: Sasha, Davion, #13, 2027 1st, 2029 1st, Pistons 2nd

Pistons out: 2nd
Pistons in: Barnes

Nets continue to clear way for free agency. Restock with 3 more 1sts for Bridges. Get a look at Davion as a cheaper younger Schroder. Free look at Sasha as a cheap bench shooter (can be swapped with Duarte if they prefer an expiring).

Pistons get a great culture/locker room vet. Costs them almost nothing.

Kings go all in on Bridges.

I like the idea of Bridges, but that seems way above market value. Giddey, 12, and 2025 Heat 1st seem right to me.

The best offer involves Houston and the picks the Nets owe them. Houston would definitely be interested, there's no reason to bother talking with anyone else.

This is insanely lobsided for NYK. This would never happen even in 2K it would be blocked.

Absolutely zero interest in Giddey and #12 in this draft isn’t very valuable.

Also Bridges is very unlikely to be moved on draft night since it’s before Mitchell’s contract decision.
