Undeserved, but not unexpected.

Assuming MKE will fire Doc and he'll somehow get this job.

Bud probably will be better since he strategizes offense and defense. But I don think Vogel was a good fit, just needed a bit more depth on that team.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

I'm not sure I agree. Suns were horrific to watch for many games. They frequently devolved into Durant ISO.
If they get Bud - IMO that is a huge win.

*** edit *** - but I agree with everyone else pointing out that the roster construction had major flaws. I just don't think Vogel was 'innocent' here.

I don’t get it…did he make the decision to trade for Beal?

That’s the dude you fire.

yeah it's definitely Vogel's fault the Suns had no point guard, downgraded at C, built around three star scorers with variations of the same playstyle, flooded the bench with crappier versions of those same players, and then had no room left to actually acquire fitting role players. All of the Suns problems are solved now, well done Phoenix.

Man Vogel has been the scapegoat three times now in fairly short order. Tough gig.

Mat ain't gonna fire himself. Cuz I'm almost certain that was a him decision and not a James Jones decision.

Yeah I know.
It often works this way in Toxic workplaces. ( not saying the Suns are a toxic work place but that’s a sign), Get rid of a high performer and blame them for poor leadership decisions that didn’t pan out.

Meh, Vogel wasn't the problem but he wasn't the solution either. Not sure anyone else can do better, but "fair" isn't really part of the equation here.

Rumor has it that they want an offensive oriented coach. Here's a name for you: Terry Stotts.
Thoughts?
