Is there a team that wants Jamal Crawford?

Post#1 » by Manhattan Project » Sun Jan 6, 2008 11:14 pm

He is averaging nineteen points this year along with three rebounds and four assist. Can play both guard positions, can take over games at the two and shoot you out of it. Can be very erratic at times when play the two, but when playing the point he is very control. If you have a hard nose coach he will be a great player. He should under Brown the willingness to learn and become better, yet under Isiah he has regressed. So who wants Crawford?

I would definatly do Stackhouse and Ager for Crawford, but I doubt Cuban and Donnie do that. Stack & our FO is similar to Big Z and Cleveland's FO.

I'll tell you what though, by the deadline if we don't get a stud big man,

NJ offers:
Antoine Wright
Jamal Magloire
Malik Allen
2nd round pick

for Quentin Richardson

Agree with Ricepilar. I had some deal a while ago with the Kings, Orlando and the Knicks where the Magic ended up with Crawford as their combo guard off the bench in exchange for expirings. Most Magic fans liked it, as far as I can recall.

Think it was something along the lines of this but not sure.

Why on earth would you do that? Dunleavy has played great for you guys this year? I just don't see what Crawford would add to your team at ALL.

Any chance Chicago takes him back afraid of losing Gordon? Seattle would be a good fit for him, seeing as their two guards suck, crawford/jones for Wally/#2

Malik Rose and Jamal Crawford

FOR

Tony Battie, Carlos Arroyo, and Pat Garrity

This isnt a trade that Isiah would make. He brought Crawford in and will not give him away like this. However, the Knicks have no identity. They have way too many players to even begin to settle on a rotation. This is basically a 2 for 0 trade, since Battie is injured and Arroyo and Garrity are expiring. Battie's deal expires in 3 years, which is good if they wanna make a run at Lebron.

The Magic get a good tough leader in Rose. Crawford has some holes in his game but their SG situation is pretty terrible right now. He's a major upgrade.

Almost impossible for the Magic to add a contract like JCraw to what they have with Howard, Nelson, Lewis and Hedo already.

It is actually quite easy. We have the right pieces to do the deal.

Carlos Arroyo+Pat Garity for Jamal Crawford
or
Keith Bogans+Pat Garity for Jamal Crawford

The contracts work, the Knicks get expirings and we get our 2 guard.

I have been pushing for this move for a while now.

I wouldn't give up Tony Battie in a deal for him like some one suggested previously though.
