Neither team does this.

Sixers have been sucking it up lately, and aren't going to give up an unprotected 1st for Granger when they already have their SF of the future in Thad Young.

Pacers aren't gonna give up on of their best young players.

Exactly. Thad's upside and athleticism is way above what Granger has. And the # 1 is too valuable. Philly projects to be no worse than # 7, and that player will have more value than Granger.

I'd keep Granger. He's better than Young and whoever that pick will turn out to be.

Neither team does it. Granger is more proven, Thad and the #1 are TWO young assets with upside. The more competitive Indiana should hold onto the former, the rebuilding Philadelphia should put more stock in the latter.

As a Pacers fan, I'd do this, simply because I know that is going to be a lottery pick, which Granger wasn't, and you get a young player who can play SG for you in Carney.

I think I'd only do this after a JO trade, though.

What has Grangers 17th pick to do with the way he is playing now and what he has proven so far?

I think I'd pass. Rather go with the proven stuff.

I MIGHT do it as a Pacers fan, but only b/c I think Shawne Williams will be better than Granger.

I think that Indy would seriously consider it. Carney coming home could give him the jumpstart he needs to live up to his potential, and that pick is more than likely going to be in the 5-9 range... I like that return for Granger...

Because Indy wouldn't laugh their "@$$" off at that?
