wouldn't the Raptors counter with Kapono (fits the 2011 plan) and Parker (expiring to boot) and wouldn't the Warriors accept? This deal, as constructed, is TERRIBLE for the Warriors.

The benefit of adding Kapono benefits both teams in the proposals I make...

For TOR: My proposals usually come with Bargnani (8m) and Humphries (3.5m) also coming back to the W's, freeing up more 2010 space for the Raptors than they initially had while still acquiring a good wing.

For GS: For us to take on that salary, a 1st was usually included, because the point of taking back a 3 year deal is that we can recoup more "sweetener" from teams.

Your offer essentially factored out GS's benefit for trading for Kapono...

LAL trades Vlad Radmanovic (2011/ 19 mil), Chris Mihm (final year), 1st (prob 2012) to GSW

Philly trades Andre Miller (final year) to LA

Philly moves rumored player (wiretap) getting a solid 3rd scoring option, while opening up starting minutes for LouW.

GSW moves redundant Maggs (have Bellineli, Crawford, Monta, plus the young fwds to get minutes to) and better situation for '11.

LA rents Miller, to bolster backcourt after Farmr injury.
