Looks like there were no winners in the Lowry for Achiuwa trade.

While we fell short of the title, we got a lil’ something something in terms of Kyle’s mentorship.

From what I understand, Precious just stunk up the joint until it was time to head to NYC.

Truly an awful performance. JJJ can’t come back soon enough.

Niko with 10/7/2 and a +6 in a game we lost by 24pts is the only solace i'll take from this one. Had trap game written all over it. Giving up 20 threes is wild though.

Just one of those games. Trent jr suddenly 8/9 from 3s who sucked for the Raps all season.

If Herro and Lowry don't play the Heat probably win, Herro was a joke getting trashed on D and just taking crap shots, The team is not utilizing Martin properly he should be the starting PG (until they trade for one) and when JJJ comes back Herro should be the sixth man. Martin is the only guard the Heat got that can get into the lane and he's the best perimeter defender they need ECF Martin back and putting the ball in his hands will allow for it.

PG: Martin
SG:JJJ
SF:Jimmy
PF: Jovic
C: Bam

You can switch almost anything and you got insanely high IQ and much bigger/athletic

There is very little floor spacing in this lineup and 3 guys in JJJ, Jimmy, Bam who mainly want to score inside.
Martin, JJJ, Jovic are all below average 3p shooters and they get a lot of the easy ones in the corner, they rarely ever create a 3p shot themselves.
Caleb 36% career (34.4% in corner on 36.2%), JJJ 35.3% (54.3% in corner on 36.5%), Jovic 34.2% (22.4% in corner on 41.2%).

You need either Duncan or Herro out there; Duncan 40% career (21.9% in corner on 42.5%), Herro 38.4% career (16.4% in corner 43.4%).

Herro takes more difficult 3s and creates some on his own. 95.6% of Duncan's 3s are assisted and for Herro it is only 72.9% (Caleb 87.6%, JJJ 97.6%, Jovic 88.5%).

I think this post is wrong on many fronts. Pretty much all of them except for Lowry being bad. But Martin is absolutely not the solution. He is NOT good at ball handling. Being able to get into the paint on drives =/= being a good ball handler. The thought of him bringing the ball up against any pressure whatsoever actually gives me a heart attack. He also has been subpar all season offensively, though I'm hoping he can pick it up as he stabilizes from his injuries.

Herro continues to be the whipping boy, but last night's game was lost at the beginning when we couldn't stop a nosebleed on defense. And that was on everyone. It didn't help that we had yet another slow start, which we have been having since Jimmy came back. (Not blaming him, but I still feel like he and Bam have not figured out a way to work on that end, probably because neither of them can shoot). And then of course Herro's horrible shot IQ didn't help, but I'd say a big part of his chucking at least this time was just trying to help get us back in the game. All in all, there's very little that could have been done when we were giving up the open looks the way we were early on. If anything, I think Spo stuck with the zone for too long after they kept nailing 3 after 3.
