Since our FO thinks Herro is equal to Booker, maybe make a play to swap them boys around and see how fast they hang up?

But on the real, if there's a star in Phoenix you throw the farm its that guy right there.

He's signed for 4 more years; it doesn't matter what he wants unless he causes a lot of issues.

I really don’t understand why we went away from everything that worked in game 2 and doubled down on everything that didn’t in game 1.

Just so everyone can say "genius Spo!" the "best coach in the world!" when he goes back to it in game 4.

I agree with this list to be honest, all top three coaches in voting deserved it to be honest.

On everyone piling on Phoenix and even Beal, does anyone remember Miami's big 3 and C.Bosh having to take a back seat to Wade and LeBron? He went from 24 ppg in Toronto to under 19 ppg 2 seasons, under 17 ppg 2 seasons in Miami with the big 3 and then when LeBron left, he went back to being a higher option and averaged over 21 ppg before his blood clot issues.

Is Beal worth his salary... no, we all know that. The question now has to be for multiple teams, is he a better value at 50+ mil vs multiple players on their roster that add up to 50+ mil and of course, you'd expect Phoenix to take trash contracts to make it add up to Beal's.

Roles matter.

That’s what won us multiple championships. We’re over here making finals trips off the strength of Jimmy Bam and Spo alone basically, add another all star to the and see what happens. What you see these other guys doing in other organizations IS NOT what would be happening here. If that’s what people think then they don’t trust the FO, Spo, or the players anyways so we might as well blow it all up top to bottom. Vogel is a horrible coach by the way.

Ethan is on some BS this morning and is upset people are willing to trade Jovic for a young proven all star and is now comparing him to Wade and Bam. Someone better put his elderly dad in protective custody because Ethan might be in the early stages of an episode and decide he’s going to beat him up again.

I think the Org sold him on some dream about what could be and he ate it up, another excuse for not committing of going all in this upcoming off season.

You can live with 2 high volume scores, not 3, there's going to be sacrifices on offense for the rest of the team. For better or worse, Butler and Bam are good not getting tons of shots so Miami could get away with adding 2 high volume scorers to replace less efficient high volume Miami guys in Rozier and Herro.

After being the 3rd option in Phoenix I'm expecting Beal to be way more open to more teams, he doesn't seem happy in Phoenix being a lesser option and with that, Phoenix will probably be able to move him to get out of this situation. Maybe LAL stack some salaries to get him.

Well yea..its exactly what some Heat fans were clamoring for this offseason, a 'super team' or 'big 3' flanked by vet minimum contracts. We had success with it in the Heatles era because we got 3 guys (2 of which were superstars) in the prime of their careers, same for GS. That model of team building looks extremely dated when the key players aren't in their prime.

I know Phoenix would love to turn Beal contract into a defensive mindset floor general, however nobody is giving that up for a guy making $160M in the next three years with 15% trade kicker, and no trade clause. Its going to be interesting offseason for sure, there was hesitation from many teams the last time he asked out, there's going to be even more, and he basically went for a bag of Doritos and salary filler.

He may give up that NTC now. The team he wanted to go to said no without removing that NTC, with 3 years left he could expect to stay in Miami for 2 of them, possibly 3 if he's still playing at a high level.

Just to let people know, his TS% these playoffs was .607 which is great for a scorer, but he was the 3rd option behind 2 high volume scorers in KD and Booker.

I do wonder if the Lakers will be going after him this summer. Not sure he fits next to Maxey in Philly.

Maybe Milwaukee if they try to move Lillard, they could get assets for Lillard (taking bad contracts with draft assets) and rerouting those bad contracts to Phoenix. It's a way Milwaukee could get a redo on Lillard if they want that, especially as he's 3 years older than Beal.

It's going to be an interesting summer for some NBA teams.
