Chalmers hit one of the GOAT shots in NCAA history and hit many big shots in the NBA. If he was open I have no doubt MJ would pass him the ball too.

yeah, but MJ also did the iso hero ball to win titles too. he was a threat for anything, which is why he was unstoppable.

lebron hasn't, because he can't. lebron plays within the flow of the game.

he is very stoppable, and you know you can make him pass the ball out because he isn't offensively skilled enough to will points when team needs. he plays within flow of game. that's fine. but he's not on MJ's level.

in 2016, it was kyrie who took Curry 1on1 and drained the 3.

i mean, even JIMMY outplayed lebron in 2020 finals for goodness sake. Jimmy was the more clutch player. I still feel the Heat could have won the 2020 Finals if Goran and Bam didn't have crap luck. Imagine Lebron's legacy with that 2020 Finals loss to Jimmy. That is what almost happened if not for injuries.

this is all so obvious You would NEVER hear that of MJ. Never. Even when he lost, he was still the best player on the floor

MJ is the GOAT. He was the greatest in the greatest era of basketball. I was just thinking a few days ago: if these guys today who aren't as skilled as the guys in MJ's prime are getting paid 50-60 mil per year, HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK MJ, Barkley, Malone, Reggie, Isiah, the Admiral, Aguire, Ewing, etc would make if they played in this era??? Those guys were way more skilled than today's players. They were fundamentally sound in multiple facets of the game and knew how to play. Today's guys might be able to shoot, but can't dribble. Might be able to dribble, but can't defend or facilitate. Might be able to defend but can't rebound.

MJ WAS DOMINANT IN A DOMINANT ERA OF BASKETBALL...

His last two years on the Bulls Jordan made more than the rest of the team combined. His salary was more than the salary cap by himself

Only recently did the top players catch up him as far as annual salary. I don’t know how it was even legal back then. Salary cap is $136M this season. His equivalent salary could be around $155M.

A little complicated in the trade machine to make the money work but let's have some fun

To Heat - pick 6, Davis Bertans (expiring), Dennis Schroeder (expiring)
To Charlotte - pick 10, Cam Johnson
To Brooklyn - pick 15, Tyler Herro, Vasilijie Micic, Cody Martin, Thomas Bryant

Rozier/Schroeder/Wright
Duncan/Richardson
Jimmy/Jaime
Jovic/Bertans/Highsmith
Bam/Love

+ a guy at 6, 43, the inevitable SL find, MLE to play with.

If that were the deal, I’d probably look at Dalton Knecht at 6 to replace Herro’s shooting and production on a value contract.

I’d love us to have a chance at Topic, but my guess is he’s San Antonio bound.

well it's dead now that Brooklyn doesn't have that pick. Back to the drawing board

Isaac, Cole and a 1st is a lot of value for Herro.

Please god no, you all have been brainwashed. Stop putting your hopes in these undrafted guys.

For one, if Mia makes a major move like the one that you’re hoping for, they’re gonna need to have cheap contributors off their bench.

For two, major move or not, the type of role Williams would likely have would be limited to an occasional off the bench scoring spark initially with the hopes of him developing into a bigger contributor ie vincent.

Fuxk all that, give me a proven vet for the vet minimum over some undrafted g leaguer.

Son, with proposals like that, I’m convinced if we’d put your brain in a june bug, it would fly backwards.

Mama Gayle is sending you McCollum and Nance, and you will say, “yes and thank you.”

Mitchell or Trae this offseason. We have to obtain one some way some how.

Personally I would trade for Young not for Jimmy thou. It would be a package of Herro and Robinson.

But I do not think the Heat are interested in Young at his current salary.

Also I am getting the impression the Heat really likes Rozier since acquiring him. If they get a new point guard they are willing to make Rozier the 6th man

It feels like we are missing a lot of rational thinking when it comes to some trades being proposed. Trae might get moved but he will cost a fortune, thats not even factoring he is a cash cow for the Hawks, so odds are he is the one that stays because things are not always done for basketball reasons. Also we need to temper expectations with anything Utah related, remember good old Danny is running that ship. We all have seen how Danny operates lol.

do you think that teams would be ready to get a player with arthritis?

It depends on the diagnosis of it being chronic or acute. Example I had acute arthritis in my left wrist from over training to shoot left handed. I am not very knowledgeable about spinal cord injuries. But I have looked it up that a variety things can cause it from minor to severe
