I think more credit should actually be given for this win now that I think about it. JJJ was out, and he has been a huge part of our rotation. Yes, we got Jimmy back, but to not have JJJ made us have to play Caleb and other guys more minutes than they'd normally get out there, and that did not help us.

So, very gutsy win for us.

Jaime's activity on both ends is clearly missed. Rook just goes 100 to 0 every fastbreak possession.

And shoutout to Herro. He has his haters, even in the Miami Heat fanbase. I hope he figures it and he stays a heat lifer. I'd like to see the guys we drafted Bam, Herro, Jovic, JJJ stick together and win chips together. We'll see how he does in the playoffs, if he doesn't have a great one he'll likely get moved in the summer.

Good post.
As long as Herro has skills should be the main thing, the body strength and weight will come in his mid upper twenties.

JJJ is such a major difference maker. We are so dangerous with a full healthy squad but just need a decent PG. Yes I do think Tyus Jones would be huge for this team. He’d play within the system and give us a steady presence. Jimmy also trust him

Yeah at this point I think you almost have to consider this team a big four, I'd put JJJ right up there with the other three in importance, and he's arguably had more produced value just by virtue of being on the court the most of all of them. Crazy that he was just a throw-in for Dame in the offseason, and now he's probably untouchable.

Kid is a borderline allstar already.

Another player that’s maturing is Jovic. This guy is what, 20 years old?
Spo doesn’t trust him yet in crucial situations, but his future seems bright.

I said go 1-1 without Jaime. Good to get that first win out of the way! I would understand a loss on Wednesday in the 3rd game in 4 nights up in Toronto.

Yeah in terms of ranking, I would put

Jimmy
Bam
Herro
Jaime

Maybe Duncan is 5th or an ECF player Caleb

Cronin should be fired. He let his feelings and the national media dictate him not doing the right thing. Karma. Now we got another future pillar of this organization

Lowry and J Rich point guard rotation is just awful. Even a nominal upgrade would make a massive difference.

Whats w/ all the Jrich hate? I think he does fine in his role. Personally, if jrich can just defend well, i think he can be defacto PG. in all honesty, idk if we need one unless a big name comes up. We have so many guys who get us into offense, already.

Also, Niko again with a team high +17 in only 19 minutes of action tonight. Impact is beyond the box score.

You might as well change your name to Tyus Jones Burner.

I wonder what was the last NBA game to go 4 quarters + one and neither team reach 100 lol

Anyway, is this OP's Banner game or next?

+/- Bulk incoming

Huge win Nets rested as hell Heat missing JJJ/Love and they just found a way to win. If the game is ugly the Heat are going to win everytime. That Kyle Lowry 2 on 1 fastbreak attempt might be the worst I have seen in the NBA.

Return to Miami Heat
