Clippers robbed them.

They got a scoring champ and a pitbull for scraps.

Harden traded for nothing of value. One unprotected pick and a few scrubs. Ballmer going for it, not caring about the $ cost. While Pat sleeps and Micky thinking about who to dump so he can get out of the tax.

Good for Harden. He got to where he wanted to go. He was willing to make things uncomfortable.

They got 2 FRPs + swap for Harden, which is good value.
They are certainly up there with Boston/Milwaukee when they upgrade their roster later, maybe Siakam.
Actually looks really good for them with Maxey looking like an allstar as well.

My problem with the Harden trade is why didnt Adam Silver put out a memo threatening sanctions/draft picks if he did not report to the Sixers? You sent out that memo and threatened the Heat and Dame, which gave all the leverage back to Portland, but you sure as hell didnt say **** to LA or Harden.

So for the millionth time, a player requests to get traded to a certain team, they didnt report to the Sixers, and they got their way. But when Dame wanted Miami, he did everything right even report to offseason workouts, that was a problem. **** you Silver.

He did report to the Sixers though. Then got some excused absences in preseason. Maybe some unexcused too but it’s preseason so no one cares. He showed up for the regular season game and was told to go home from the airport. He did everything “right”. He won’t lose a pay check cause he maliciously complied and made the Sixers blink in both sending him home and then trading him. That’s how someone under contract handles his business to get what he wants! :usa:

No thats someone on an expiring knowing he has nothing to lose. Contrast that to Dame who bended over backwards to come here but has 4 more years on his contract. He has his brand and reputation to worry about, not to mention the 4 years. Dame did everything he could to come here, Pat put as much effort as Butler is putting this season to get him.

Embiid will do what everyone else does. He will sign an extension for 300mil and then following season demand a trade

What a great win for the Spurs, first KD decides to watch his man set a pick that isn't used because Vassel takes an early 3pt shot (to have a chance at a rebound and possibly go up 2) so instead of blocking out this 7'4'' highly mobile big who he just watches the shot with a lot of time on the clock and isn't really surprised when his man, Wembanyama, hustles to the front of the rim for putback. Then instead of wrapping up the ball with multiple players on to possibly get a jump ball he puts the ball over just over his head so a defender now behind him can has a shot to rip it away from him which he does. Just poor execution by KD in the last 12 seconds of a game they were up by 1.
