NBA players usually return from grade 2 ankle sprains after around 3 weeks on average. I'd expect Herro back for one of those home games against Indiana on Nov 30 or Dec 2.

i think herro could have brittle bones. this dude is starting to hurt in the most occasional ways

last year he got injured just by going after a ball something that you dont see often. wish him the best though, but chronic injuries are a concern to me

If a player is always getting injured what does that make them? You being mad at what someone is labeling a Heat player is ironic lol

Tyler is going to miss the whole in-season tournament.

So how long until Chris Bosh finally comes out as gay and ESP makes him male athlete of the year for his courage

I may end up posting this in the new thread once this one gets locked, but anyone else realize that the Heat effectively have 2 mid-season breaks this season? They have a 9-day break in December that is bizarrely just as long as the All-Star break. And considering that at least Bam or Jimmy is likely to be an all-star again, this makes their December break likely their longest of the season:

Tue, 11/28 vs MIL
Thu, 11/30 vs IND
Sat, 12/2 vs IND
Mon, 12/11 @ CHA

Wed, 12/13 vs CHA

---

Sun, 2/11 vs BOS
Tue, 2/13 @ MIL
Wed, 2/14 @ PHI
Fri, 2/23 @ NO

Mon, 2/26 @ SAC

My guess is that the coaching staff has been circling that 12/2 date to get all of the experimenting done and really settle in with a consistent 4-quarter gameplan (hopefully).

The first break is for the in season tournament. I think those games just haven't been scheduled yet but Heat may actually have games then.

I absolutely love watching Jaquez play ball. He makes the right play almost all of the time. Mistake free basketball. Hella defender too. So happy we drafted him.

To me guys who are injury prone (prone to injury) are more like guys like AD, PG13 and Kawhi who routinely have injuries that take them out of games caused by, for the most part just playing the game of basketball with nothing spectacular causing their injuries.

Herro has had two significant injuries from diving for a loose ball and breaking his hand and landing on another players foot. Doesn't mean he's prone to injury more that he's just unlucky.

It's unfortunate that he's missed as much time as he has with us because of those circumstances but to equate that to him being injury prone is not fair to me. He doesn't deserve that stigma with his name based on what has happened.

Oh duh. Thanks! The schedule this season is officially terrible then. Multiple blocks of tough games and the longest home stand is only 4 games!
