Duncan has low key been good to start the season. Not just as a sniper, but his off ball movement and cutting has been exceptional.

Tough game for Tyler. He had great looks and normally he makes like at least 4 of those open 3s. Also tons of turnovers, but somewhat mitigated getting 3 steals.
Really has to learn how to be smarter when finishing at the rim, that Lebron block trainling from behind you could see that one coming miles away.
Lots to learn for Tyler, but he is very young still.

I agree, he needs to know the competition and Lebron or an athletic taller dude following him close to the rim, he needs to learn how to fake the the first attempt and use gravity or the player’s momentum to create a better shot.

He’s been really good lately so a “stinker” was bound to happen, all good

It’s going under the radar a little but dude has been ELITE! If he keeps it up his contract remaining is a bargain

Tyler was trying to do way too much at the end. He has played well enough until now to get the occasional pass.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

If Tyler’s mulligan/floor is 22/5/5 on 40%, then I can live with that.

Highsmith took his starting job, I don't think Love is getting it back.
Tough to get playing time for Love, Jovic when this roster is this deep and Caleb is still out.

Jovic even looked good when he got minutes, but they really seem to be focused on getting wins now.

If the Heat had Oubre/Wood for minimums for extra length and scoring punch they would have been a threat this year with the current squad, big props to Highsmith he actually looks like a super solid 3 and D guy now. Also LeBron was 100% on something tonight everytime he's in Miami the guy becomes the most athletic player in the L.

Miami could have lost this game. Lakers had several wide open looks in last two minutes of the game and missed the shots. Bam was good last night but he needs to make these shots that he missed. Tyler was ok last night. As always he seems to missed more shots than makes them. Some of you guys, might be upset that herro didn’t outplayed Reeve but if you watched the game, lakers defense strategy was to put defense mind player on Herro. Reeve was not given the same treatment from the Heat. Sometime Lowery would be defending him then Herro then Duncan. Instead of having Highsmith on him. Highsmith defense assgimanet was to either defending Davis or Russell and sometime LeBron... JJJ was good in this game and looks experienced. He had a very good court awareness. I love his drives to the basket. Did you see the part where he stopped and pump faked at the rim while LeBron was trailing right behind him when JJJ had a clear path to the rim and his shot was not blocked. This something that is not Herro strong suit, court awareness.. LeBron chased him down to the basket and his shot got blocked. Butter was great but a little bit too quiet. This was a ok win even though Miami looks like they was on a mission.

As much as I'd like to take the opportunity to  ... obviously sample size, roles, and responsibilities, would've made any direct comparison pointless. You can compare the physical attributes of the two, and their athleticism, their speed, quickness, and explosiveness, their skills, and their basketball IQs, and all that jazz, but even that wouldn't tell you if or how well each could function in the other's role. Obviously we have a better idea of how Herro would function as the 4th banana since he hasn't always been the primary shot taker on this team, but we have absolutely no idea if Reaves is even capable of filling Tyler's role, let alone doing it as well.

There's good reason to believe that Reaves is more Max Strus than Tyler Herro.
