In this case it does, our system is predicated on the threat, the illusion of the 3. We have Bam as a non shooter and the same with Butler but he's sorta trying to shoot the 3. When teams take out Duncan we lose badly, because no one will spread out the court for Butler and Bam to attack. Duncan is the key here, good or bad.

Bam does not attack even with Duncan and Herro spreading the floor. Bam has become a mid range turn around shooter. I thought this year he was going to expand his game but he fooled us all. I still remember when he said he was going to shoot the three..

Have you seen his dead ball attempts? He's not ready to shoot 3s yet. He'd have a terribly poor percentage right now. He's been attacking the past two games because Herrozier have been aggressive getting in the lane, forcing defenders to step up which opens the lane. Problem is, that tactic doesn't work when you're being guarded by two 6'9" monster defenders and the rest of their teammates keyed in on stopping you from getting to your preferred spot. That takes superstar offense level of skill to overcome that and that's not who Bam is.

There’s finding undrafted talent, and there’s being overly bullish with the undrafted talent.

The only positive he does is defense and we have someone to pressure the guards (Spo fetish btw) but if his shots are not falling, he looks bad and it's 4v5 because of that.

I wonder how he'd do as a full time 3 instead of a criminally undersized 4. But then we're taking minutes from 3j & Caleb.

Unbothered, moisturized, happy, in my lane, focused, flourishing, knowing that Pat Riley will fix this by 3:00 pm Thursday.

It’s either trade Duncan or trade Tyler there’s no in between they both can’t coexist here any longer on there salaries as we continue to disregard other areas of our team. We are running out an old 6’8 Love at center, a 6’5 jag in Highsmith at PF who can’t play offense worth a lick, a 6’5 Caleb Martin at only 200 pounds playing the 4, we have two other centers in Bryant and O Rob who can’t even get off the bench while the roster has one damn PG.

Idk, I don't necessarily agree. None of those guys brings what Duncan does when he's on. I'd argue he's a better fit than Herro

Our G League pipeline has also been faulty not developing any shooters. Why is Swider sitting on the bench as this potential shooter yet can’t get off the bench. We have a repetitive player in Cain who possibly might even be better than Highsmith and don’t know what the hell we are doing with RJ Hampton. Maybe we’ll ending up signing a 5th center we’ll never use. Front office is not doing very good right now

I'd still give Duncan a chance, his gravity alone let Butler and Bam enough space to work inside. But if we can get another sharpshooter who can defend, I will trade him too.

Also, the Herro and Rozier fit is not working defensively and offensively. We neutered both after the trade.

A mess of a roster fitwise and skilwise.

Strus and Vincent is a big loss as it seems. Both just played their role here and defended at their best ability allowing Butler and Bam to shine.

Bogdonovic crushes Duncan in every offensive facet of the game. He may not run around like a chicken without a head like Duncan looking for 3’s

Exactly why u can’t move Duncan

Offense is inept without long distant shooting

Duncan is our only tradeable contract to bring something decent back. Spo should have been seeing what we have in Swider. If you don’t trade Duncan for a PF enjoy this team in the playin or lottery
MWP Heat are not gonna make another major trade till this summer.

And the friendship connection Butler had with Strus was also fun. Vincent was also Bam’s best friend.

Not mad at the Heat at all for today's performance. It was a tough playoff defensive competitive game. It just came down to a few things. Bam not stepping up and no three point shooter present in the game. Clips hit threes down the stretch and the Heat couldn't. Slow pace game so yeah the scoring was low.

Please do it so I can cook you clowns that dont have a big enough brain to build a legit argument

I know you love Bam. But do you truly think hes better than Bosh?

I truly do. Bosh had a better jump shot and that’s about it. Bams the better defender, rebounder, passer, stronger, faster, more athletic and I don’t even think those things are debatable.

When it’s all said and done Bam will worst case be the 4th best player in Heat history and will be top 1, 2, or 3 in like 7 different stats in Heat history

Wonder if Bam is hurt somehow, no explanation as to why he stop shooting the mid. I never bought the idea that he was just going to start shooting three's, but him turning into Ben Simmons wasn't on my Bingo card

I hope Bam, Jaime, and Terry find their basketball souls; not a good omen for the playoffs, though we've seen stranger things

Heat would of won the game if Lue didn't bench Westbrook for Powell. Those three jumpers he hit in the 4th was a back breaker.
