DSJ was coming if we got Dame, maybe if they’re serious about DFS they’ll try for him. Very good defender

I can see why his name was mentioned. This team very well knows it needs a defensive catalyst at the 4 but we also need the size with it. Not 6’5 Highsmith or Martin

DFS is 6’7 with a 7 foot wingspan so that’s a start

There is no trade involving Herro for a PF that’s going to interest the other team. Maybe Duncan and a pick with Jovic attached has a better chance

We need a tough stretch to get Duncan moved to the starting lineup. Unfortunately Terry didn’t start tonight so that may not count towards that but might as well go ahead and get it out of the way from the start

I am not even worried. Even if they went 15 - 25 for the next 40 games I wouldn't be worried. I know come playoff time we gonna get MVP Jimmy which raises everyone else's level as well. We've seen it past 2 seasons

Disagree. You can't just be giving games away. "Playoff Jimmy" is out the window if we don't make it in.

Look at the standings, there's no way they don't make it in. The worst they'll do is the 8th. There's no scenario where the Bulls or Hawks pass Heat in the standings. We have too much of a cushion and those teams suck even more

To the herro Stan’s we’re just venting it wasn’t all Hereo tonight most of the team sucked actually. I think the biggest issue was things were too free flowy so that’s on spo. There’s no reason why we should lose this game with the talent gap but seems like teams don’t run traditional plays anymore it’s all dribble hand off perimeter and pnr.

Old school ball you run plays for Jimmy and slow down the game. We did it a bit but nowhere near enough.

Spo believes in Herro so the ball will be in his hands unless Butler overrides it

To me it seems as if Herro is being molded at all cost to play in a particular system, Spo’s system, and since Herro is a stricky player, he needs to get early touches. Wade was a slow starter in games but would finish strong, the difference is Wade’s Godly athleticism made up for it. Herro lacks strength and athleticism, but has the skills to compensate given the touches, but Spo’s system relies on players by committee.

This team is just BORED. It's almost the all-star break. This is basically like the month of December for these guys if they were corporate employees - no one really does any work and people just don't care. They just want to go and enjoy the holidays.

Honestly, I feel like a lot of the issue we're talking about go away when Jimmy decides to re-establish himself. This team starts and ends with him, and will go as far as he takes us. He needs to start to pick it up, perhaps earlier than he has in years past. This team needs him to go alpha and pull everyone in line with him.
