Spurs culture-tank extremely well.

Elite level tankers right there DoM. When they bottom out, they time it well.

Wow
From the 2002 scouting NBA combine

BREAKDOWN: Junior Rejean “Boogie” Ellis is a 6-3, 185-pound guard who transferred to USC after two seasons of playing at Memphis, where he was named the American Athletic Conference Co-Sixth Man of the Year in 2021. Ellis has shown the ability to score by driving into the paint and from beyond the three-point arc and is a strong defender

The Spurs drafting Reed and Knecht would be masterful.

I can see that. This draft is a bunch of role players from my perspective. Having high level shooters around Wemby sounds good though.

Yea I think the draft is super decentralized with a lack of consensus or clarity as to who will be good. I expect a bunch of solid role players, a handful of guys pushing All-Star status, G Leaguers and some flame outs all to make up the first round. This draft doesn't have many guys that everyone can agree on as the best of the bunch.

Everyone has their warts in this draft. I just don't know that I'd be excited to draft Mario Chalmers in the top 10.

Combine measurements trickling in and being reported on this twitter thread.

Clingan making himself some money measuring at 7'1.75 without shoes and a 7'6.75 wingspan

Yo, what the hell Stephon Castle is 6'2" without shoes? He's listed at 6'6" or 6'7" in some places!

Filipowski has a negative wingspan like we thought. He's nearly 6'11" without shoes with a 6'10 wingspan.

Damn they gotta get that correction out everywhere then. Those numbers are good for Castle, but devastating for Castle. Don't want to color Castle's draft stock.

Zach Edey actually grew from last year. 299 lbs 7’3.75 without shoes 7’10.75 wingspan. That's approaching Yao Ming size. Might be even taller than Wemby.

If those really are Carter's numbers, he might be bigger than I thought. Over 6'2" without shoes and a nearly 6'9" wingspan? Wow.
193 lb isn't bad either.
