Tantalizing potential. Hopefully the Beasley, Winslow, Whitside, Okpala experiences have the Heat ready to discern his mental makeup. A lot of rumblings about his disinterest in bball. No clue as to the validity.

Can he be a Baron Davis? Or is he just a bench PG scorer?

Most players can shoot a 3 taking their time at 3 point line. Him shooting that in warm-ups under no pressure means very little

My biggest thing with Collier is how does he score in the NBA? He doesn't seem like a big dunker, and shoots like he's a big man.

Tbf we saw Bam in his pre-draft workouts look a lot more fluid shooting 3s and 7 years in thats yet to become a full-fledged part of his arsenal. What it shows is Edey is capable, and he will get at least a couple of those opportunities a game it comes down to if he has the courage to take those in game early on his career to build the confidence.

He's more below the rim--which plenty of successful scoring point guards are. I think it's pretty clear that Collier scores in the NBA with his top tier slashing game and versatile finishing package with both hands.

The biggest thing with Collier is if he can shoot or not. That is worth being concerned about. Bc if he can't be a contributor off ball then he is likely not more than a scoring guard off the bench.

He could be Emmanuel Mudiay or Baron Davis.

Was really hoping for more wingspan from Da Silva, but not surprising. He's more of a combo forward than any sort of true size infusion at the PF spot for Miami IMO. His average rebounding numbers had me expecting a sub 7' wingspan.

Still would be happy for Miami to take him with their pick. Steady freddy 3&D role player.

Yep, and if he can't shoot I don't know how valuable that slashing and finishing is. Especially since his half court playmaking seems questionable.

I think he shows a lot to be excited about as a half court playmaker. Not sure there are many guys in the class that can create advantage in the half court out of nothing like Collier. Some good progression in cleaning up his turnovers as the season went on.

To me Collier is THE boom or bust PG of the draft. Where a lot of other players have little boom hope and safer floors to find solid roles in the NBA.

Edey has pretty good form there in his 3, at least way better than Clingan in some of that footage lol. I see the vision in him hitting those in game eventually. It's not like most people can even contest it. His measurements are huge! Might be the NBA's tallest player next season.

If Bub is still growing into his frame then he's another guard that has boom potential IMO.
